Abstract

The composite section consists of an exterior and interior metal piece (1,2) joined by insulating bridge-piece (3) forming a thermal insulating bridge. The insulating bridge-piece has longitudinal, preferably dovetailed, widening end pieces forming a foot (4) fitting into back-tapered grooves (5) on the metal sections. The end pieces on the end side (12) facing the metal pieces has at least one longitudinal gap (13) which takes an arm (14) protruding from the metal piece. The depth of the gap matches at least the width of the end piece. The gap's sides are parallel.
