Es sind Aluminiumlote aus Zinn, Zink und Blei bekannt, bei denen der Gehalt an Zinn ungefähr gleich oder sogar grösser ist als jener der übrigen Metallkomponenten zusammengenommen. Diese Zusammensetzung der Lote ergab beim Gebrauch jedoch keinen organischen Zusammenhang der zu verbindenden Stücke an der Lötstelle, so dass diese bekannten Lote zur festhaftenden Vereinigung von Aluminiumteilen für den praktischen Gebrauch nicht benutzt werden können.
Vorliegende Erfindung behebt diesen Übelstand und schafft ein Lot, welches an der Lötstelle eine Verbindung herstellt, welche an Festigkeit dem Aluminium selbst nicht nachsteht. Ausserdem hat ein solches Lot vorteilhaft seinen Schmelzpunkt schon bei 1600 C und kann daher auch mittels Lötkolbens aufgetragen werden.
Das neuartige Lot besteht aus etwa 30% Zink, beiläufig 30% Blei und ungefähr 40% Zinn.

Aluminum solders made of tin, zinc and lead are known in which the tin content is approximately the same or even greater than that of the other metal components combined. However, this composition of the solders did not result in an organic connection between the pieces to be connected at the soldering point, so that these known solders for the firmly adhering connection of aluminum parts cannot be used for practical use.
The present invention remedies this drawback and creates a solder which produces a connection at the soldering point which is not inferior to aluminum itself in terms of strength. In addition, such a solder advantageously has its melting point already at 1600 C and can therefore also be applied using a soldering iron.
The new solder consists of about 30% zinc, incidentally 30% lead and about 40% tin.
