Mit gesteigerter Aktivität wächst ihre Adsorptionskraft, mit Hilfe deren man Jod, das z. B. aus jodhaltigen Flüssigkeiten in Freiheit gesetzt wird, an die Kohle binden kann. Man hat aber bisher Schwierigkeiten gehabt, aus solcher jodlialtigen Kohle das Jod in praktischer und ökonomischer Weise wiederzugewinnen.Process for the production of iodine compounds or of iodine.
