Process for the production of incandescent lamps with a helically wound luminous body stretched between a number of holders.

The invention relates to the manufacture of incandescent lamps of the type in which a helically wound luminous body is stretched between a number of holders. The object of the method forming the subject of the invention is to bring about a uniform tension of the thread in the individual sections between two holders in such lamps.

For this purpose, the luminous element e (Fig. 1), the length of which is much less than the connecting line to the other lead wires running from one lead wire over all support points, is first attached with its two ends to the two lead wires f, f, then into the Feed wires opposite eyelet 6 inserted (Fig. 2), whereby the spiral thread is divided into two parts completely equal in length and tension: the same process is repeated for each of these two halves (Fig. 3) and continued until the filament on all holders (Hooks, eyes or the like.) Is divided (Fig. 4). This procedure ensures even tension in the individual thread sections between the l! consolidation orgacen secured.

If open support hooks are used as fastening elements, it is necessary to close them to form an eyelet after the filament has been laid.
