  Futtertrog.

  Feeding trough.

The subject of the present invention is a feeding trough, the walls of which are composed of cylindrical surfaces and have different curvatures. Compared to similar troughs of asymmetrical cross-section and straight side walls, the trough according to the invention achieves that in the different positions in which it can be pivoted, the cross-section of use is larger and the trough can be inclined more strongly without the feed escaping. Finally, the trough can be tilted so far without the risk of losing feed that even small animals such as piglets can take their feed from it.

The drawing illustrates the feeding trough according to the invention in FIG. 1 in a perspective view and in FIG. 2 in section in several positions. 3 shows a cross-section of the trough on a larger scale. R and have different centers 111 and M respectively (Fig. 3). With different inclinations of the feed trough (positions c, il, ('in Fig. 2) the useful cross-sections, which are indicated by the lines f, g and h (Fig. 2 and 3) in the illustrations, are always the largest.

The standing side of the animals is on the surface b and the axis of rotation S is closer to the standing side of the animals than the opposite side.
