Abstract
Sistemas y métodos para crear y almacenar una mezcla en fase líquida de gas natural y disolvente de hidrocarburo ligero en condiciones de temperatura y presión que facilitan relaciones volumétricas mejoradas del gas almacenado en los sistemas de contención de construcción ligera. La densidad de almacenamiento mejorada del gas natural en comparación con gas natural comprimido (CNG) y gas natural líquido a presión (PLNG) en las mismas condiciones de temperatura y presión es posible usando disolvente de hidrocarburo ligero tal como etano, propano y butano, y disolventes a base de liquido de gas natural (NGL) y gas a presión líquido (LPG) en condiciones de temperatura de menos de -80º a alrededor de -120ºF con condiciones de presión que oscilan desde alrededor de 300 psig hasta alrededor de 1800 psig.
