Abstract

El proceso de preparación de una composición de alcohol alcoxilado que incluye uno o más alcoholes alcoxilados, proceso que incluye las siguientes etapas: a) reacción de monóxido de carbono con hidrógeno bajo condiciones de reacción de Fischer- Tropsch en presencia de un catalizador de Fischer-Tropsch; b) separar del producto de la etapa a) al menos una fracción de hidrocarburo que incluye parafinas C9-17 y olefinas C9-17, la fracción de hidrocarburos incluye además al menos una porción de alcoholes; c) poner en contacto una o más fracciones de hidrocarburos obtenidas en la etapa b) con un óxido de alquileno; y d) recuperar la composición de alcohol alcoxilada del producto de reacción de la etapa c).
