Abstract

Material acumulador de oxígeno, provisto de una elevada estabilidad a las temperaturas, que contiene oxido de cerio y por lo menos un estabilizadortomado del grupo de oxido de praseodimio, oxido de lantano, oxido de itrio y oxido de neodimio, estando el o los estabilizadores y eventualmente el oxido decerio presentes en forma altamente dispersa sobre la superficie específica de un material portante de elevada superficie tomado del grupo de oxido dealuminio, oxido de circonio, oxido de titanio, oxido de silicio, oxido de cerio y mezclas de los mismos, y presentando el material acumulador del oxígeno,después de su calcinacion al aire a una temperatura de 900 grados centígrados durante 10 horas, todavía una superficie específica de más de 20,preferentemente de más de 30 metros cuadrados por gramo, su uso y n procedimiento para su manufactura.
