Abstract

Se provee una batería de litio con capacidad de corte instantáneo de la corriente cuando se recalienta como consecuencia de un corto o situaciónsimilar, con lo cual se evita su explosión. Un resorte de aleación con memoria de forma hecho de unaaleación de niquel-titanio se coloca entre la tapa y lacaperuza, el cual puede hacer contacto con ambos elementos, con lo cual se los conecta eléctricamente, o separarse de la caperuza en caso de recalentamientode la batería, a través de lo cual seproduce la desconexión eléctrica de la tapa respecto de la caperuza. Una saliente semiesférica se configura en elcentro del resorte de modo tal que haga contacto con la parte inferior de la caperuza, y si la batería se recalienta, se achata y se separa de la misma,como consecuencia de lo cual se produce la desconexión eléctrica de la caperuza respecto de la tapa. La saliente semiesférica del resorte de aleación conmemoria de forma se expande y contrae repetidamente a los efectos de evitarel recalentamiento de la batería.
