Good Morning. I Srikant Athavale here from Pune. I have created SPA Tech Foundation for a good purpose. The aim of this foundation is to create skill development in the areas of adhesive tape, printing and packaging, and to solve the problem of the industry's. I am a rubber technologist. I have been associated with rubber and adhesive tape industry for the last 45 years. Recently I have created "SPA Tech Foundation". This foundation is needed to develop skills of operatore , supervisors for, Adhesive tape, Printing and Packaging and Rubber Industries. I have been associated with this Indusstry for such a long time and have experienced severe shortage of experienced, skilled manpower , and lack of moderate level of management staff. On the other hand, unemployed , undergraduates and graduates today account for 50-60%. I have developed a diploma for 3 months and 6 months. ICICI Foundation has influenced me in starting this diploma Why do you need such a diploma? Our industry and our students need this. The purpose of this Diploma is to increase the technical skills, in the current situation, we see that unemployment has increased many times, in many branches of education, for example, many graduates in the arts commerce science engineering department are unemployed. In fact, the same conditions are seen in children who have studied till matriculation or up to class XII but later on, there is no way for education as there are no such opportunities available to such talented students from the villages. You can see how complicated the true situation is If you try to see the other side of the coin , then in my 45-year career, it has been found that there is no shortage of work in this type of industry, but skilled workers are not available even after searching for the companies, so it is almost impossible to run these factories with full capacity.

This has ref to our telephonic conversation few minutes ago.

I have developed a Workshop on Pressure Sensitive Adhesive , Refresher Course . This is perhaps the only  of it's kind in India.
The purpose  behind the same is to try and train at least 25-30  , upcoming and deserving young talent . This will benefit the participants as well as the Industry , that could absorb them at a reasonably better package. Our Tape Industry is always facing a acute shortage of Candidates with , some background , related to Coating and Converting Industry.

This workshop is based on about 19-20 tech Presentations , supported with suitable Video clips, Photographs , Animation movies . The participants , will heave to  attend a Screen test before and After the Workshop. This will,help us + the ORG that could host this Workshop  , to analyse the performance of the participants. I am also proposing to Issue Certificate of Refresher Course Completion. I am also proposing to Present 3 Prices for the Best performer , judged by a formal commitee.

This kind of  Training program or Workshop is being conducted for the first time in India, perhaps. The purpose of the said Workshop is for sharpening the skill of the Technical staff  , in operation ,
from any branch like Research or Quality Control, Production or even Technical sales area. Another  specialty of the said Workshop is , that the Workshop will be organized in the Premises of the
Corporate or Multi National Companies , IN Indian , and a maximum of 15 participants can be accommodated  inside one Workshop.
The workshop will not only sharpen the skill of talented Technical team, it will also train the beginner’s  in the team. This workshop will be very highly instrumental  in  analyzing or scanning the  , inbuilt skill
of the Technical ream , before and after the Workshop is concluded.
