Decision-making is one of the most important life skills for young athletes to succeed in their daily lives and can be improved through Positive Youth Development (PYD) programs. Although the application of this type of programs has increased within educational and recreational sports, there is a lack of research relating PYD through competitive sports. Therefore, the objective of this study was to determine whether an intervention with competitive female youth players improves their decision-making. A hybrid PYD program was applied (37 trainings and 14 games) using convergent mixed methods. 15 girls (8–10 years) and a male coach participated in the study. Introducción: El propósito de la presente investigación es la de identificar como los juegos con competición y los juegos cooperativos afectan a la motivación del alumnado en las clases de educación física, en la etapa de la educación secundaria obligatoria. Método: Se ha recopilado la información científica necesaria en bases de datos como Pubmed, Google Scholar, Dialnet, Scopus y Web of Science. Para obtener los datos se ha llevado a cabo el cuestionario de motivación en las clases de educación física (CMEF) en un instituto de educación secundaria obligatoria de la ciudad de Alicante. Resultados: Se observaron mejoras en la motivación intrínseca en todos los grupos de trabajo. También se observaron diferencias significativas en el aumento de la motivación intrínseca del alumnado que realizó los juegos con competición. In this article, we will analyze the origins of Contrastive Rhetoric, in which a linguistic perspective change -from sentence analysis to text analysis-; Whorf's linguistic relativism hypothesis and the inadequacy of the methods in that time to improve the written productions of students gather. Next on, we will examine the reactions that triggered in different scholars both its detractors and its defendants. Later, we will expose the evolution of the discipline from its initial stages in order to carry out, finally, an assessment of the last known version.

Thermal diffusion or Soret effect is a phenomenon of mass transport in fluid mixtures driven by temperature gradients. In this paper, we have studied thermal diffusion coefficients for different binary n-alkane mixtures (equal mass fraction) through both theoretical and experimental methods. The theoretical model is based on the irreversible thermodynamics. Particularly, the nonequilibrium thermodynamic property τ is examined and remodeled with a consideration of vapor-liquid equilibrium in binary mixtures. The experimental method is based on the thermogravitational technique. The new model provides a good agreement with the experimental data from this study and in the literature.
