Different from the systems that have been applied in developed countries, the organic farming in developing countries such as Indonesia demand more self-determination for the farmers as a consequence of the limitations of Government’s ability to subsidize the program development. One effort to increase the independence of farmers in running the program is to develop motivation that can encourage the independence of farmers in the development of organic farming. The “warm-glow” of Andreoni as spiritual motivation is very suitable to be developed among organic farmers since it is in line with the principles of organic farming. In this paper will be discussed: (1) What motivation encourages the development of organic agriculture in Indonesia (2) The existence of the motivation of “warm-glow” in Indonesian organic farming (3) The role of “warm-glow” in encouraging the development of organic farming in Indonesia.

One of the world tourism destinations recognized as Unesco Global Geopark in Bali is Kabupaten Bangli. The main attraction of agriculture in Kabupaten Bangli is Kintamani coffee agrotourism with a beautiful panoramic view of coffee, safe tracking routes for tourists, strategic location, and producing special Arabica Coffee products making Bangli an agricultural tourism destination worth visiting. The purpose of this study is to look at leveraging factors and assess the status of agro-tourism sustainability in terms of four dimensions of sustainability, namely the economic, socio-cultural, environmental and institutional dimensions for the development of Arabica coffee agro-tourism. The results of the evaluation of the 4 dimensions of sustainability indicate that the environmental dimension gets the lowest value. This is because environmental conditions are very vulnerable to land conversion in the future. If agro-tourism cannot provide benefits and economic improvement for the surrounding community, farmers will divert coffee plants to other plants that are more economically profitable. A regulation or local government policy needs to be made in preventing land conversion in the Arabica coffee agro tourism area of Kabupaten Bangli.

Mino Ngremboko Fish Cultivator Group (or Pokdakan Mino Ngremboko) is the pioneer of fish cultivation, which has been developing rapidly since its establishment in April 1987 until now (the beginning of 2021). Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic has been attacking Indonesia violently (since March 2, 2020), disrupting the supply chain of the fish cultivation business. The negative impact is a decline in revenue significantly. Mino Ngremboko Cultivator, for instance, has been affected by the pandemic with an average revenue (demand) loss of 50-70 percent. In addition, business resilience becomes very crucial which comprises business continuity that represents the ability of businesses to rapidly adapt and respond to the pandemic crisis (EIB, IBRD, 2022). The objective of the study is to assess the resilience and supply chain integration of the Mino Ngremboko Cultivator in facing the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond. Method this study uses the inductive-qualitative approach through a case study of Mino Ngremboko Cultivator. Data was collected through unstructured interviews and observation from November  2020 to March  2021. The study results provide three constructive insights, especially for managing Mino Ngremboko Cultivator and Fish Cultivator Group in general for sustaining their businesses. (1) Supply chain resilience is relatively good, which was shown by the average of productivity 1,10 from March 2019 to March 2021; (2) supply chain integration of fish cultivation business was not optimally implemented yet, and (3) Pokdakan Mino Ngremboko's business recovery strategy to optimise the practices of supply chain integration based on the digital marketing as well as downstream and commercialisation the output of fish cultivation. These recovery strategies require the support of improving organisation capability and stakeholder alignment to contribute to sustainable development (benefits for the social and ecological environment) in 2022 and beyond.

Indonesian rubber farming has the largest area in the world, but its implementation faces various risks that decrease productivity and farm income. This study is designed to specify the risk perception, risk attitude and determinant factors for smallholder rubber farmers. The research location was in four subdistricts in West Kalimantan Province, with a sample size of 200 farmers. Data collection was carried out by interview using a structured questionnaire. The risk matrix, Holt and Laury's method and the logit model were used to identify risk perception, risk attitude and determinant factors. The study results showed that most rubber farmers were risk-averse and perceived climate change, plant diseases and price change as high risks. The logit model found that farmers' age, education, rubber plantation size, rubber age, distance and use of rubber clones had a positive and significant effect on farmers' risk perception, while the family size and farming experience had a negative effect. Regarding risk attitude, the logit model found that rubber age, distance and risk perception of price change had a positive and significant effect on farmers' risk aversion, while farmers' age and use of rubber clones had a negative effect. This study recommends providing informal education to the farmers through training and counseling, encouraging the farmers to replant old or damaged rubber trees and adopt rubber clones. Furthermore, it is also necessary to improve road facilities and infrastructure, communication and transportation access to facilitate farming activities.
