The purpose of this study is to analyze, from a critical perspective, the contribution to peace and
development of “Fez Process” in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, considering
the role of diplomacy and religion in the construction of spaces for peace and conflict prevention
derived from perceptions about religion, in a geographical space dominated by an orientalist vision of "Culture of War". For this purpose, the methodology used is qualitative, with an exploratory study based on literature review and interviews with key informants.
