Significantly less attention is paid to the characterization of the “estate topos” in the texts of the authors, who, due to class restrictions, were not the owners of the estates and their frequent guests. In the literature of the Russian Silver Age, these are primarily the poets of the “peasant concord” group: N. Klyuev, S. Ese nin, A. Shiryaevets, S. Klychkov and oth- ers. For them, the most important and often the earliest in time of development of the source of knowledge about the Russian estate was Russian literature. The poets got an idea of estate complexes from personal experience. Elements of these complexes become symbols, each of which has a semantic filling formed over a long period. Revolutionary events of 1917–1921 lead to the rapid death of the estate world. If Klyuev in the early post-revolutionary years welcomed this process, then for Shiryaevets the Russian estate is inseparable from peasant life, Esenin is characterized by the transfer of elements of landlord complexes to the space of the peasant estate, in the heritage of Klychkov, like some other authors, an important role is played by a garden connected not only with the landowner estate, but also with peasant life, with the Garden of Eden.

The peculiarities of the «estate-dacha topos» are revealed when referring to the lyrics of N.А. Klyuev, poems by S.A. Еsenin, prose by I.S. Shmelev and B.K. Zaitsev. The appendix contains materials summarizing the author’s experience in developing strategic planning documents for a number of literary reserve museums and estates-museums. The book is addressed to humanities scholars — philologists, culturologists, humanitarian geographers, as well as cultural figures and a wide range of lovers of Russian literature.

Esenin: personal impressions of communication with the wanderers and the pilgrimages to monasteries, folklore tradition, perceived in direct communication with its carriers and from the books, works of the Russian classical literature and the contemporaries, orthodox iconography and divine services. As an invariant of the motive, the author considers the pilgrimage to the land of Christ, the Mother of God and the saints, as well as the forced pilgrimage, primarily due to the exile to Siberia. Special attention is paid to the small poem “Mikola”, written by Esenin in his native village in the summer of 1915 and published at the same time in the newspaper “Birzhevye Vedomosti”. The main character of the work is Mikola (Saint Nicholas of Mirlikisky), who goes around the Russian land as a wanderer, acting as its intercessor and intercessor before God. The poem is analyzed in the context of works, written or published at the beginning of the 20th century which was dedicated to the saint or testifying to the worship of him. These are the texts for which the motive of wandering is relevant.

Special attention is paid to the historical sources of the “Us” poem in view of the wide range of Esenin’s readings in the mid-1910s and his classes in 1913–1915 at the History and Philology Department of the A.L. Shanyavsky Moscow State University. Esenin was able to familiarize himself with popular textbooks, songs of the Razin cycle as well as with historical works which pay considerable attention to Stepan T. Razin. At the same time Vasily R. Us was a rare and minor character in works devoted to Razin. One of the first addressed to the image of Us was Kamensky in his novel “Stenka Razin,” published in 1916. But if in Kamensky’s Us is an associate of Razin, in Esenin’s work he is an independent character, and the second central character is Us’ mother.

It is important to preserve not only the manor complexes where writers lived and worked, but also the territories surrounding the manor houses. Estates and surrounding farmsteads, household items, natural landscapes, local toponymy, history of the place of residence – all this was relevant to the writers since their childhood, was preserved in their memory and had a significant influence on their work and the peculiarities of their image system. As literary landscapes are also considered museum-like manors, which were once cultural centres with theatres and musicians, where neighbours, writers and cultural figures came together.

The paper’s author analyzed the texts, where the poet had most clearly revealed the Last Judgment notion.
