Bu calismada Epistemolojik Inanclar Envanteri’nin Turkce’ye uyarlamasi yapilarak, ardindan envanterin Turkce Formu icin cinsiyet gruplari arasi olcme degismezligi incelenmistir. Calisma grubunu, Ankara Universitesi’nin cesitli lisans programlarinda ogrenim gormekte olan toplam 1318 ogrenci olusturmustur. Calisma grubunda yer alan 1318 ogrenciye envanterin ceviri formu uygulanmistir.Capraz gecerleme yontemi kullanilarak envanterin uyarlama calismasi, calisma grubundan seckisiz olarak belirlenen 500 kisiden elde edilen verilere dayali olarak gerceklestirilmistir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 10.00, LISREL 8.71 ve EQS 6.1 programlarinda analiz edilmistir. In this research, relationships between the Secondary School Student Selection and Placement Exam (SSSSPT) scores of 2002, general ability scores, primary school grade point averages and the first year grade averages at several high schools have been investigated. This research has been conducted by 298 students who took the 2002 SSSSPT and attended the freshmen classes of six science high schools in Ankara, Turkey during the 20022003 academic year. The study variables’ power to predict success at the SSSSPT and high school has also been studied. To analyze these relationships, Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and stepwise regression were used. Bu araştırmanın amacı, TIMSS-2015 uygulamasına dayalı olarak, matematik başarısını etkileyebileceğini düşünülen öğrenci ve öğretmen nitelikleri ile öğretimsel nitelikler açısından dördüncü ve sekizinci sınıf öğrencilerini sınıflandırarak öğrenci profilleri oluşturmaktır. Yapılan kümeleme analizi sonucunda dördüncü sınıf düzeyinde üç kümenin ortaya çıktığı, sekizinci sınıf düzeyinde ise iki kümenin ortaya çıktığı gözlenmiştir. Dördüncü sınıf düzeyi için bu kümelerin oluşmasında en etkili olan özellikler, matematik başarısı, öğrenci ve öğretmen nitelikleridir. Öğretmen beyanına dayalı belirlenen öğretimsel niteliklerin sınıflama işleminde çok az önemli olduğu bulunmuştur. In this study, it was aimed to examine the interrater reliability of the scoring of paragraph writing skills on foreign languages with the measurement invariance tests.  The study group consists of 267 students studying English at the Preparatory School at Gazi University. In the study, where students write a paragraph on the same topic, the paragraphs are rated separately by three different interrater using the same scoring key. The evidence for the validity measurements was collected with AFA and DFA while the evidence for the reliability measurements was collected by the Cronbach-alpha (α) coefficient. As a result of testing with Multi-Group Confirmatory Factor Analysis within the context of the measurement invariance of the interrater reliability, no evidence of full and partial scalar invariance can be obtained while evidence of formal configural and metric invariance is obtained. The construct of student engagement has been interest of the researchers due to its importance for the problems like school disconnection, school dropout, substance and alcohol use and commit an offense. During the school years, student engagement with school may decrease, initially at the psychological domain and later at the cognitive domain. The Student Engagement Instrument measures the students’ psychological and cognitive engagement with school. This study aims to adapt the instrument for Turkish students from secondary school through high school. The instrument was translated into Turkish by expert as an initial step. Later, this instrument was administered to 2043 students. The factor structure of the instrument was examined through confirmatory factor analysis. A series of CFA’s was conducted and the six-factor structure of the original instrument was confirmed for Turkish language. Reliability evidences for these measures have been provided by calculating Cronbach α values. Based on CFA results and Cronbach α values, it is concluded that the instrument could yield valid and reliable measures of psychological and cognitive engagement and their five components for Turkish students

Bu arastirmada Buss ve Peryy (1992) tarafindan gelistirilmis olan Saldirganlik Olcegi’nin Turk ergenleri icin psikometrik niteliklerinin ayrintili olarak incelenmesi amaclanmistir. Bu dogrultuda olcek, Ankara’daki iki devlet lisesinin tum sinif duzeylerinde ogrenim gormekte olan 450 ogrenciye uygulanmistir. Yapilan bir seri Dogrulayici faktor analizi sonucunda olcegin 22 madde ve “ofke”, “fiziksel saldirganlik” ve “dusmanlik” olmak uzere uc faktorden olusan formu icin tanimlanan modelin, arastirma verisine GFI=0.91, AGFI=0.89, RMSEA=0.052 uyum degerleriyle yeterli duzeyde uyum sergiledigi kabul edilmistir. Alt olcekler arasi iliskileri incelemek uzere hesaplanan korelasyon katsayilarinin 0.43-0.54 arasinda degisim gosterdigi gorulmustur.
