We need indigenous women in engineering now - so, who's ready to step up?

Science and engineering permeate our society. Who practices engineering? Why is it that women feel outside of engineering and continue to be underrepresented in mining?
Carla will discuss the methods women may employ in making the transition to technical roles and engineering. Examples will be presented as to how women can accelerate their development. The importance of gaining experience in project management in order to broaden women's experience will be discussed.

Carla is a promoter for women in engineering and has been recognized for her international achievements.
