The Assessor is responsible for discovering, listing, classifying, and valuing all property in the county in accordance with state laws. It is the Assessor’s duty to determine the actual and taxable value of property. Most records maintained by the Assessor’s Office are public. We encourage anyone looking for property information to contact us directly. A Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) request is usually not necessary and may delay the delivery of information and increase cost.
