This paper is submitted in partial fulfilment of the Master of Arts in Theological Studies at Colorado Christian University. The purpose of this paper, entitled Doctrine of The Gospel Call and Effective Calling, is a comprehensive treatment of being effectively called by the gospels as a means of being spiritually transformed into a Christian. This capstone project makes a significant contribution toward how one might begin to hear the call of the gospel and be effectively called to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and learn to fellowship with Christ and also with other Christians. The is formatted according to Turabian's author-date standards and tends to follow a main idea, evidence, analysis, and link structure. The methodology follows an evidence-based approach supported by primary, secondary, and tertiary sources supported by Scripture in an effort to help those learn to not only hear but also listen to the calling as an act of effective spiritual transformation. It is hoped that the effectiveness of the call to achieve its desired effect might be possible by having systemically subjected the subject matter to an historical and applicable apologetic investigation.

This study addressed the problem of conflict in the workplace as experienced by leader-member exchanges (LMXs). The background and significance of this study concerned the research problem and questions asking about systems conflict in the workplace according to LMXs. The study used a generic qualitative research design; participants were obtained online via purposive and snowball sampling. Participants who were Facebook users were asked to describe their conflict experiences in the workplace that were then thematically analyzed. Results showed that either systems conflict in LMXs described leadership and followership; or that types of members in such exchanges described conflict systems. Addressing the problem by answering the research question fills a knowledge gap that the scientific community and organizational leaders might use to address systems conflict in the workplace.

Throughout the duration of this psychology capstone project (PSYC4900), learners were required to write 5 self-determined short essays on various psychological topics. This paper is a compilation of topics on postpartum depression; prejudice and minorities; the banning of hijabs in French schools; academic dishonesty; and professional goals, choices, values, and life experiences. Essays include such activities as analyzing research data, thinking critically, viewing cultural competency, evaluating ethics, and organizing a career portfolio. It should be noted that because of the absence of citations, the capstone project’s journaling activities have been generally omitted for the sake of promoting scholasticism. In addition, this manuscript is not a thesis and is not presented in its original form; rather, it has been edited significantly since its submission for grammar and formatting.

This paper is submitted as the final draft in partial fulfillment of the requirements to complete the integrative project for the course, Integrative Project for Master’s Degree in Psychology (PSY5201), at Capella University. The literary review shed light on the historical account of the project’s subject matter, in addition to not only providing a theoretical precedent for the project itself but also striving to incorporate best practices concerning relevant research. In demonstrating a logical continuity between and among the various stages of the project’s development, this paper provides a rationale for the research and how the findings might contribute to an existing body of knowledge concerning human social behavior and portable technological devices, such as is the current case in question involving cell phones. The five sections included in this paper are the Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Expected Results, and Conclusion.

The purpose of this thesis was to determine how theology could be applied to philosophical practice. The study makes a significant contribution toward answering how philosophy might be informed by theology in a practical manner. The methods and methodologies were both scientific and philosophical. Theology was found to be distinct from nonphilosophical practices claiming to be theological. These findings support the distinctiveness of theological, self-examinational philosophic practice. Theology also was revealed to uniquely inform the field of practical philosophy when applied to philosophical practice as formative self-examination (FS-E).
