answering a couple questions i got on this post since i realized ppl genuinely wanna know:

tl;dr:

the post linked above has examples of how donating to individual families can help a lot. if you want to help more than one family at a time, there are many gazan-led initiatives focusing on rebuilding their infrastructure and distributing aid fairly that are worth donating to instead of large charities that already get the majority of donations.

as i mentioned in the last post: @/careforgaza on twitter is a nonprofit started by gazans, it's been endorsed by multiple palestinian journalists.

the sameer project is a collective organized by diaspora palestinians offering emergency shelter to gazans.

ele elna elak is a project aiming to bring water, food, shelter, etc. to gazans and has been promoted by bisan owda.

and the municipality of gaza itself is fundraising to rebuild water infrastructure.

all of these organizations are active inside gaza right now and are being run by gazans. if anyone knows of other gazan-led mutual aid projects, nonprofits or charities feel free to link them in the notes! hope this helped!

People argue trans men have male privilege and making jokes about them is Fine and Okay because the rest of society is set up to cater to men. And we can get into how society catering to cis men is not the same thing as it doing that for trans men, which should be obvious if you think about it for five seconds and aren'tin denial of the fact that mainstream society will treat you as your AGAB before anything else, but like.

Concept: cursed blade rehabilitation center. Destroying a sentient weapon is expensive and highly unethical, so adventurers bring them to the center where highly trained staff can care for them and eventually find them forever homes. It turns out most cursed weapons are products of trauma and are not strictly evil themselves. Some blades turn out to be fiercely protective companions. imagine pre-s6, alya reveals to nino that she was Scarabella so he, obviously, accidentally tells adrien too. So adrien spends days trying to come up with a plan to make alya tell him LB’s identity but quickly realizes that nothing would work bc alya is alya. and so in a moment of epiphany, he thinks that marinette probably also knows too bc she and alya are besties and tell eachother everything (like him and nino). and marinette is Not Good at keeping secrets and gets flustered quickly so he concludes that somehow convincing marinette to tell him LB’s identity is his best shot. but he thinks of no better way to do so than cornering her one day at school and pretending to be confronting her because he thinks she’s Ladybug. he obviously doesn't but it's a ruse bc that way mari will eventually need to reveal LB’s real identity in order to deny his claims, right? However when confronted, marinette panics because she is, in fact, Ladybug, and after 15 minutes of torturous instigation gives in and actually confesses. and adrien just stands there like haha what. no this was a joke. what. and they’re both simultaneously panicking now and that's how secret identities are revealed!!!
