Standing Tall for Independence: TMA continues private practice advocacy amid payment disparities that create barriers for physicians to compete in the marketplace.

Enjoying Employment: As the share of Texas physicians trend away from independent practice, TMA members spell out the benefits of employment.

Tracking Texas Physicians: The Physicians Advocacy Institute and consulting firm Avalere have engaged in a research collaboration to study how consolidation trends are impacting physicians. 

Value Proposition: As more Texas physicians eye value-based care, TMA redoubles education and advocacy to develop related legislative and regulatory recommendations.

Medical terminology is based on usage of MeSH, the National Library of Medicine's Medical Subject Headings, which are used in Index Medicus. If a term does not appear in MeSH, then the author's usage or common usage is preferred.

Each index consists of three parts: the subject index, the author index, and the index of deaths.
