TMA Listening Tour 2024

    The health care landscape continues to change, bringing with it new challenges and opportunities for how you take care of patients. The increased rules, regulations, payment structures, and high cost of running a practice affect how and where you work. That’s why the Texas Medical Association is hitting the road this year to learn directly from you what is working, what isn’t, and what we can do to ensure Texas is the best place to practice medicine.

    Galveston County | Tremont House

    Monday, Aug. 26, 6-8 pm

    2300 Ship Mechanic Row St, Galveston, TX 77550

    What to expect:

    When you arrive, please pull up to the front of the hotel and valet your vehicle. TMA will be validating your parking inside at the registration table.  From the lobby, follow signs for the TMA Listening Tour. The event will begin at 6 pm with dinner, drinks, and mingling followed by an open discussion, ending with door prizes and goodbyes at 8 pm.

    The suggested dress code for this event is business casual or work attire but we welcome you to come however you are comfortable.


    Fort Bend & Brazoria Counties | Constellation Baseball Stadium

    Tuesday, Aug. 27, 6:30-8:30 pm

    Address:  Constellation Field, Party Suite A
    1 Stadium Drive, Sugar Land, Texas 77498

    What to expect:

    The event will begin at 6:30 pm with dinner, drinks, and mingling followed by an open discussion, ending with door prizes and goodbyes at 8:30pm.

    Everyone is invited to stay in the suite after the event is over to watch the rest of the game.

    The suggested dress code for this event is business casual or work attire but we welcome you to come however you are comfortable.

    Montgomery County | Margaritaville Lake Resort

    Thursday, Aug. 29, 6:30-8:30 pm

    What to expect:
