CIRCUIT DESIGNS

1. INTRODUCTION:

The circuit design is mapped layout of the board, made up of

electronic circuits, comprised of many components including:
transistors, diodes, capacitors, resistors, and more. A circuit
diagram, also known as an electrical diagram, elementary diagram,
or electronic schematic, is a graphical representation that simplifies
an electrical circuit. It serves as a visual tool for the design,
construction, and maintenance of electrical and electronic
equipment.
SIMULATION
• Circuit simulation is a process in which a model of an
electronic circuit is created and analysed using various
software algorithms, which predict and verify the behaviour
and performance of the circuit.
• Simulations are a proven tool to improve learning and also
create a positive environment that encourages
experimentation and accepts mistakes
TYPES OF CIRCUITS
1. Close Circuit
2. Open Circuit
3. Short Circuit
4. Series Circuit
5. Parallel Circuit.
PROTEUS SOFTWARE:
• Proteus Design Suite is a software tool set, mainly used for
creating schematics, simulating Electronics & Embedded
Circuits and designing PCB Layouts.
• Proteus PCB Software combines Schematic Capture and PCB
Layout modules to provide an affordable, powerful and easy to
use suite of tools for professional PCB design.
SCHEMATIC CAPTURE
Proteus is a schematic capture tool that lets you use a
graphical user interface to construct electronic circuits. Wires
can be used to connect components that you have created
symbols for on the schematic sheet.
PCB LAYOUT:
• A Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout is the blueprint that guides
the production of circuit boards which are the backbone of any
electronic device.
• A PCB schematic is a logical and visual representation of an
electrical circuit. It is the first step of electronic product design.
You must follow standard schematic guidelines such as precision
net labelling, and symbol standardization to have a well-
structured and error-free design.

Green creates less eye strain and makes it easier

to see every part of the PCB.
It is due to the solder mask, which protects the
copper circuits printed on the fibre glass core to
prevent short circuits, soldering errors, etc.
China is the largest producer of PCBs,

CONCLUSION:
• Electric circuits are the backbone of modern electronics and
technology. They are fundamental to the operation of many
devices, from simple lighting circuits to complex computing
systems.
