INTRODUCTION
• Emiliano Lizares National High School is a barrio high school situated at the heart of Barangay Granada. Basically,
the school is surrounded by sugarcane fields but in close proximity to the PNP Precinct and the Barangay Hall. The
school is also accessible to the nearest barangays such as Barangay Estefania and Barangay Alangilan. 
• For years now, many school administrators led the school. On April 2020, Mrs. Zenith Avila, Principal III was
installed as the new principal of the school.
• On the start of her administration marks the transition of the whole education system of the country as we embraced
the Alternative Learning Modality as an instrument to provide basic education amidst the pandemic. Last School
Year 2020-2021, ELNHS made its first Basic Education – Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP). The School Learning
Continuity Plan is the heart on the process of delivering the learning to the learners; with the use of different learning
modalities. This refers to a modality where learning takes place between the teacher and the learners who are
geographically remote from each other during instruction. This modality has three types, namely: Modular Distance
Learning, Online Distance Learning, and Television/Radio-Based Instruction. The school adopted the Printed
Modular Learning Modality and Online Distance Learning Modality.

INTRODUCTION
• Despite of the challenges, ELNHS had been given a 3- star validation during the SBM Wins validation. Different
innovation and action research were done for the continuing improvement of the school. New approaches towards
management, leadership, teaching and learning processes were implemented. Now, ELNHS is crafting new
innovations to be a better Green and farm school in the future.
• Now, the school prepared for the BE – LCP for School Year 2021-2022 which entails all the data from the last BE-
LCP including the preparation of the different modalities to be implemented for the next school year.
• The school’s mantra for the next school year is, ABANTE, EMILIANO: LETS GO GREEN! : Aspire excellence,
Boost innovation and research culture in teaching, Align 21st century skills in teaching and learning, New approaches
in teaching and learning through modalities, Teaching excellence through innovation, research and professional
growth, Excellence in School Based management and administration. The LETS GO GREEN! phrase is aligned to
the SDO- Bacolod of creating farm schools in the city as ELNHS aspires to be one.
• The direction of the school’s implementation of the Printed Modular Learning Modality and Online Distance
Learning Modality for the next school year is to continue our best practices on the three areas: Access, Quality and
Governance and simply to make our learners learning and safety our utmost priority.

• The ELNHS School’s BE- LCP + is a learning continuity plan that details the
preparation of the school for the alternative learning delivery this coming SY. 2021 –

How will you communicate “My PAL” to all learners at the start of School Year 2021-2022, so we make
sure that every pupil, student and learner has a cozy and comfortable study area to occupy while learning
from home?
The communication process to our learners depend on their location and capability. The location refers
how far the learners are from the school and how capable are they for accessible communication through
text, chat, video calls and etc.
To those who have the access for communication through online and text messaging, the parents will be
given an orientation on how should the learning area must be comfortable for the students to learn. A
picture or an actual video call showing the study area of the learner must be shown to the section adviser to

Communicating MY PAL: “Preferred
Area for Learning” to ALL Learners
As to those who are near from school with limited communication access, the section adviser can have an interview
to the parents during the orientation on distribution and retrieval for the next school year. The interview shall observe
the required health protocols (social distancing, wearing of face mask and face shield, disinfection).
Those who are not feeling well and those who had a temperature more than 37 degrees will be advised not to have
the interview in person and must not go to school. A letter will be sent to them indicating what should the learning
area should be look like.
Those who are far from school and with limited access, the section adviser can: send letter will be sent to them
indicating what should the learning area should be look like or can have the limited face to face home visitation that
shall observe the required health protocols (social distancing, wearing of face mask and face shield, disinfection).
If limited F3 classes will be implemented for Grade 12 in SHS, then the SHS shall observe the required health
protocols (social distancing, wearing of face mask and face shield, disinfection), should indicate social distancing
inside the classroom. There must be functional hand washing facilities in conspicuous areas and functional CRs as
well. Students who are not feeling well be automatically be advised not to go to school.

ESTABLISHING HEALTH PROTOCOLS
IN SCHOOL FOR F3 CLASSES
With the new normal, learners are not allowed in school. With this great adjustment, the school is given the
opportunity to prepare for the incoming face to face classes in the midst of pandemic.
As to classrooms, the learner and seat ratio are aligned to the required number of seats and learners that can only
occupy in a room. The classrooms can only accommodate 15-20 students if limited face to face is to be conducted.
Seats are marked to indicate distance from a meter apart to each learner.
As to hand washing facilities and health protocols, signage are visible everywhere in school. Marks to indicate
social distancing and wearing of mask are visible as well. Faucets, rest rooms and changing rooms for girls are
functional and maintained.
Learners who are not feeling well will not be allowed to go to school if limited face to face will be conducted. In
case of emergency in school, the clinic is well prepared with first aid kits and medicine. Care room is fully functional
as well. Alcohol dispensers are available and visible in every building, offices and floors in school.
