What is a statement?
A statement is a “telling” sentence. It gives us information
and it’s followed by a period or a stop (.)

What is a question?
A questions is an “asking” sentence. It asks for
information and it’s followed by a question mark (?)
Commands and exclamations
What is a command?
A command is a sentence that tells you to do something
or gives you an order. It’s followed by a period (.)

What is an exclamation?
An exclamation is a sentence that shows excitement or
strong feeling. It’s followed by an exclamation point (!)
