    UNIT 1
    MEMBERS OF IMMEDIATE FAMILY
    Adalah Anggota keluarga terdekat. Seperti : Ayah, Ibu dan Anak.

    Dialog 2
    Made : Are you married?
    Dita : Yes, Iam
    Made : tell me about your family. How many children do you have?
    Dita : I have two children, one son and one doughter
    Made : How old are your children?
    Dita : my son is 16 years old, and my doughter is ten
    Made : Are they in the school?
    Dita : Yes, they are. The boy is in junior high school and the girl is in
    elementary school.
    Kata-kata benda yang mempunyai bentuk jamak yng tidak beraturan
    (uncountable noun) yaitu kata-kata benda yang bentuk jamaknya tidak
    menggunakan penambahan ‘-s’ .
    Misalnya:
    one children, two children, one woman, two woman

    Untuk mengatakan anak laki-laki yang tertua atau


    anak perempuan yang tertua anda dapat
    menggunakan frasa seperti: my older son atau my
    older daughteratau my first daughter.
    Dan anda dapat menyebut my younger son stsu
    my younger daughter untuk anak yang lebih
    muda.
    UNIT 2
    DESCRIBING THE MEMBERS OF
    THE FAMILY
    Adalah mendeskripsikan ciri-ciri anggota keluarga.
    Misalnya: namanya, asalnya, pendidikan, usia, badan ( langsing,
    gemuk), dll.

    Example:
    Claire is a beautiful woman. Her skin is white. She has short,
    blond, and curly hair. She always wears sunglasses when she goes
    out during the day time in the summer. She wears a casual
    sweater. She is fat. Her weight is 60 kg, and her height is 160 cm.
    UNIT 3
    EXTENDED FAMILY

    Adalah keluarga besar (extended family) yang terdiri


    dari ayah, kakek, nenek, paman, bibi, kemenakan,
    kakak ipar, adik ipar, dan menantu.
    THE WILSON

    Mr. and Mrs. Wilson have two sons, Bob and Tom. Bob and Tom have the same family name, Wilson. Tom
    Wilson married shelly and they have one daughter, Susan. Susan was married and they have one child,
    Dick. Mike is Bob and Helen’s son. Shelly and Helen are Mr. Wilson’s daughter – in – law. Susan and Mike
    are Mr. Wilson’s grandchildren. Shelly is Bob’s sister – in – law, but Helen is tom’s sister – in – law. Mike is
    mark’s brother – in – law. Dick is mike’s nephew, but mike is dick’s uncle. Mr and Mrs. Wilson are Dick’s
    great grandparents.
