Khayati Steel Industries P. Ltd. is promoted by Mr. Navin Kumar Gupta and his mother Mrs. Anita Gupta who are already in the field of steel industry & metal scrap business etc. Khayati Steel is now proposed for expansion of rolling mill by another 49,000/- MTPA and steel melt shop (induction furnace of 20 MT) increasing its Billets manufacturing capacity by another 70,000/MTPA. at Thandya Industrial Area Thandavapura ,Nanjangud Taluk Mysore District.

REQUEST TO EXEMPT EIA AND CONSIDER AS B2 CATEGORY
Under EIA notification 2006 Environmental Clearance has been obtained for the existing unit from SEIAA, Karnataka, EC dated 9th October 2009. EIA was prepared for the steel plant. Project site is located in the notified KIADB industrial area.
Existing reheating furnace
which is used for the bar making will be
stopped and it will reduce the pollution load. Existing coal consumption of 336 TPM will be nil after expansion.
