COURSE DESCRIPTION The course is the continuation of Civil Procedure. It will deal with
the remedies after judgment, both before and after it becomes final. The course will also cover
provisional remedies, special civil actions, and The Rules on Expedited Procedure in the First
Level Courts.
LEARNING STRATEGIES
The method of instruction will not depart from the usual pedagogy in the law school which is
Socratic method. Thus, every meeting, the students should expect that they would undergo
rigorous recitation wherein their minds would be tested on the topic assigned. In this manner,
their critical thinking will be developed. There will be one to two (1-2) major quizzes in the five
(5) major topics in the course outline.
GRADING SYSTEM The final grade will be computed as follows:
Thirty percent (30%) will consist of class standing. Class standing is composed of recitations and
quizzes.
Thirty percent (30%) will consist of the midterm examination, and 40% will consist of the final
examination.
