to base (where you insert to start), SLST a row down

base of that CH, SLST another row down towards body)

FOR RIGHT GILLS:
Attach between rnds 10&11
(CH 8, starting in 2nd CH from hook, 7HDC down, SLST to
base of that CH, SLST another row up towards the head)
x2
CH 7, starting in 2nd CH from hook, 6HC down CH, SLST
to base of the CH and F/O

Reattach with fuzzy yarn, HDC around all 3 Gills, SLST

when done all 3 gills. F/O and weave in ends.
Assembly:
Head/Body: Using the yarn tail from the body, attach the body underneath the head along where
you closed off the head. Be sure to centre the body under the head.

Legs: Sew on the top legs between rounds 12&13, Sew bottom legs between rounds 4-5 (You can
stretch the legs between two rounds or three. I prefer doing them for the 3 rounds)

Tail Frill: Sew tail on between rounds 3&4 on the back of the Axo.
Attach dark pink yarn to the right side of the tail (by the body) and SC around the outside of the tail
until you reach the other side. SLST to F/O, weave in tail.
Reattach fuzzy yarn the same way. HDC into the previous SC made around until you get to the tip
of tail, 3HDC in one stitch (this prevents curling), then continue with HDC in each stitch until you
reach the end. SLST to F/O, weave in tail.
