🧪 Solve Under 30 Seconds:
Q1. A 10Ω resistor carries 3A current. Find power dissipated. → Formula: P = I²R = 3²×10 = 90W

Q2. A 2kW iron works 3 hrs daily for 10 days. Energy consumed? → E = P×t = 2×3×10 = 60kWh

Q3. In series: 5Ω, 10Ω, 15Ω. V = 60V. Find current. → R = 30Ω, I = V/R = 60/30 = 2A

Q4. Two resistors 8Ω and 4Ω in parallel. Total current 12A. Find I1. → I1 = (R2 / (R1 + R2)) × I = (4 / 12) × 12 =
4A

Q5. R = 20Ω, I = 2A → Find V. → V = IR = 2×20 = 40V

Q6. R = 100Ω, V = 100V. Energy in 10 minutes? → I = 1A, P = 100W, E = P×t = 100×(10/60) = 16.67 Wh

Q7. A 5Ω and 10Ω in parallel. One carries 6A. Find total I. → V = 5×6 = 30V → I2 = 30/10 = 3A → I_total = 9A

Q8. Loop: +12V - 2I - 4I = 0 → Find I. → 12 = 6I → I = 2A

Q9. Current into node = 4A. 2 branches carry 1A, 1A. Find third. → I3 = 4 - (1+1) = 2A

Q10. Mesh with 10V source, 2Ω & 3Ω. Find mesh current. → I = 10 / (2+3) = 2A

Q11. Node Vx connected to 10V via 2Ω and 5V via 1Ω. Grounded at Vx. Use nodal analysis. → Solve: (Vx-10)/
2 + (Vx-5)/1 = 0 ⇒ Solve

Q12. Supermesh with 2 loops, 5A current source in between. R = 2Ω and 3Ω. → Write combined mesh
equation and use current source value

Q13. Supernode with 12V between Node A and B. Use KCL for combined node. → Use V_A - V_B = 12V and
KCL

Q14. Convert Delta (5Ω each) into Star: → Each R = (5×5)/(5+5+5) = 25/15 = 1.67Ω

Q15. A wire has R = 10Ω. Length doubled, area halved. New R? → R’ = ρ × (2L / A/2) = 4R = 40Ω

Q16. 2 batteries in series, 6V each. Load = 3Ω. Find current. → V = 12V, I = V/R = 4A

Q17. V source 20V, R = 5Ω → Convert to current source → I = V/R = 4A → 4A with 5Ω in parallel

Q38. Bulb rated 60W, 240V. Used for 4 hours? → E = 0.06kW × 4 = 0.24kWh

Q39. 10Ω resistor in circuit has 5A. Find voltage. → V = IR = 50V

Q40. Series: 2Ω, 3Ω, 5Ω. V = 100V. Find V across 5Ω. → Total R = 10Ω, I = 10A → V = I×R = 10×5 = 50V
