How Did Zeus Change Hera
Once upon a time, in 200 b.C. , on Mont Olympus, Zeus, the supreme ruler of Mont Olympus, and
Hera, the goddess of fertility, married. But their personality difference have always caused
problems for everybody. Hera is loyal to her marriage but Zeus is not, he always has many new
lovers and when Hera finds out she gets angry and really sad but there is nothing she can do.
One day, in 107 b.C. , as soon as Hera woke up ,on Mont Olympus, she noticed Zeus wasn t in
their room, like he was in the previous night. She started looking for Zeus in their house but she
couldn t find him, and neither anyone on Mont Olympus. After one day without any news of Zeus,
Hera asked help for goddess Hestia, Zeus s and her sister, the goddess of family.
Hestia, that was worried with her brother, decided to help Hera find out what have happen and
where he was. Hestia started looking for Zeus but after some time she told Hera she wouldn t help
her anymore, without explaining the reason. Hera was distrusting this situation, first Zeus
disappeared, and now his sister, after agreeing that she was going to help Hera, changed her mind. ...

She offered him a child named Merida. He accepted the offer made by Hera and told her he would
find out what happen to Zeus and where he was. After some time the Oracle, that was frightened,
told Hera that nothing happen with Zeus, he was just with a new lover named Diana, close to Punta
Cana.
At the same time, Hera became so mad that she decided never to let something like that happen
anymore, so she asked Hestia s help again, and told her what she found out, but Hestia alredy knew.
Hestia, that was sorry for what she did before, said thata now she was going to help Hera, so she
made a device named Friends. This device showed people were their family and close friends were
all the time, so that Hera would always know were Zeus was, and who he was
Hillcoat s Crocodile
In Crocodile, Hillcoat incorporates a scene where an insurance agent uses a database of facial
recognition to locate where a person lives. In this paper, I am going to claim that technology has
its own downward spirals. In the episode Crocodile from the anthology series, Black Mirror, it is
seen how an insurance agent by the name of Shazia interviews several people by using a device
that enables her to access their memories to see if a claim will pay out after a man was hit by an
automated pizza truck. The thing that concerns me is that throughout the episode there is a scene
that intrigued me very much. In a scene, it is seen how Shazia uses the faces recorded of the people
she interviewed from their memory through a database and can quickly... Show more content on

To be a responsible technological professional is not quite simple. Certainly not to me, because
technology is in our everyday use, whether it is through the prevention of cyberbullying, not
committing plagiarism, exploring safe sites for research, or simply just for taking a picture.
Every action that we decide to make leaves a trail of information that could be either stored or
recorded for future use. For example, a list of all the web addresses that you visited along with
the details of each search you initiated online and many other examples that can be thought of.
Facial recognition as we know it can be the next big technological innovation, but it does not
mean that everything that comes out of it is good and beneficial to society. We see as Shazia
uses facial recognition to find the person she is trying to reach behind her work because it is
permitted for her to do so, but what about in the outside world, where the is no monitoring of who
decides to use that tool? Not only would this invade a person s privacy, but it would be completely
unethical to not ask for a person s permission before this action is to be
Homeless Shelters
A hospital rehabilitation facility gives particular, individualized treatments for an assortment of

The shelter s present the homeless with a chance to improve their living circumstance.Homeless
shelters serve the hungry, abusers of drugs, and the ones who have no stable place to live. Many
homeless that come through the shelters have a problem with drugs and alcohol. The shelter
provides them with counseling, treatment programs in addition to support in maintaining their
sobriety. Also the homeless are given beds, food, and methods to having a better quality of life. There
are many professionals involved in homeless shelters. There are therapists, and health care staff.
Regularly these individuals who visit these shelters require medical treatment and therapy for drugs
or alcohol. They may be unclean or sick. Medical teams are prepared to help those in need.
Counselors can also help them get food, and financial services like food stamps and rent assistance
as well as into drug treatment programs. The professional s function in these shelters are to assist the
homeless with food, a place to sleep and treatment of mental illness in addition to other sickness like

Gilead And Pfizer Inc. Essay
fluctuate. Subsequently, these unforeseen conditions or events could adversely affect Gilead s
financial results and stock prices. Competition: Gilead faces significant competition from other
large biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Many of these competing companies have vastly
greater financial resources than Gilead. Most of these competitors also have more product
offerings and have existed longer in the markets in which Gilead competes. Gilead s HIV
products primarily compete with products from a joint venture established between
GlaxoSmithKline Inc. (GSK) and Pfizer Inc. (Pfizer). Gilead also competes with products
marketed by AbbVie Inc. (AbbVie). In addition, a new product launched in the fourth quarter of
2013 by ViiV Healthcare (ViiV), could adversely impact sales of Gilead HIV products. Gilead
also faces competition from generic HIV products. In May 2010, a patent covering a Gilead
product expired in the United States and a generic version of that product is now available in at
least the United States, Portugal, Italy, and Spain, with expected releases of that generic product in
other countries within the European Union to follow in short order. Debt to Equity Ratio Having a

Prince Of Egypt Analysis
While artistic and historical license has been taken, the setting is an element of the movie that is
true to the essence of the Bible, faithfully representing the dry and barren landscape of Egypt,
while the impression of it s geography has been altered. Although the Dreamworks animation,
The Prince of Egypt depicts the setting accurately, the animators of the film have changed certain
aspects of the movie to create interest and relatability. The first difference in the setting of the
book of Exodus and the film The Prince of Egypt is the misrepresentation of the Nile River.
According to the story of Exodus, the biblical account of Moses implies that he floated across the
Nile river safely. However, the film represents the Nile as a busy and dangerous trade route, filled
with large boats and potentially harmful predators. Therefore, by placing Moses in a dangerous
river, it emphasises the need for Moses to be saved from Pharaoh s wrath; while for the viewer, it
creates a sense of tension and suspense. Also, another setting that was altered when compared to the
biblical account of Moses was that of the Pyramids and Sphinx. The movie claims that the Pyramids
and the Sphinx were positioned near the palace; however, according to historical evidence, these
Egyptian statues are located in Giza. In contrast to the movie, the Bible states these Egyptian statues
were found in Thebes. With this change made, the viewers can recall a popular feature associated
with the traditional
Hamlet Literary Analysis
It s not surprising that Shakespeare is considered one of the greatest play writiers. All his tragedies
cause us humans to feel for the horrible plots against the main character that Shakespeare put
together in continuous extenuating circumstances of sadness. All of these plays are called tragedies,
and Hamletwas just the first written by Shakespeare (SparkNotes). Hamlet is the story of a Danish
prince whose uncle murders the Hamlet s father. That same uncle marries his mother, and claims the
throne. In retribution the prince pretends to be foolish and whitless to throw his uncle off guard,
then manages to kill his uncle in revenge. In this essay I will talk about inspiration from
shakespeare, from this play what has it inspired other people to create, and about various famous
quotes from the play. Hamlet didn t just come from nowhere, let s first talk about how the tragedy
came to be one of the greatest in the Western world (SparkNotes). As a matter of fact Shakespeare
was inspired sometime between 1599 and 1601; right at the turn of the century where many
impactful tensions going on (Write a Writing). Many people think that Hamlet used this as a
metaphor to highlight the tensions that existed and arose during the English Reformation that
delved into whether Catholics were legitimate or the Protestants (Write a Writing). According to
Sparknotes Shakespeare borrowed for his plays ideas and stories from earlier literary works
(Sparknotes). There may have been
My Teaching Philosophy Of Teaching For Physical Education
EPE 100 has not only taught me so much about becoming a teacher but a ton about myself. Prior to
EPE 100, I felt as though I had a solid understanding of what it meant to be a physical education
teacher. Do a quick warm up, Rally the students, put them into teams, explain the rules and let them
go at it. Man oh man was I wrong. Throughout readings, assignments, and practice I now believe to
have a much better understanding of what it means to be a physical educationteacher. There has been
three major ideas that have begun to influence my teachingphilosophy; Teaching for physical
literacy and skill development not just sports, embracing physical activity as a lifelong journey
and challenging all students inside and outside of the classroom. These three concepts are very
important to me as I begin my teaching career and are the three highlights in which I took out of
EPE 100. It took me a very poor micro teaching experience to finally understand that physical
education is truly about more than just sports. You learn more from failure, than you do from
success this is a quote that I hear very often from various coaches and teachers. I think this
perfectly sums up my micro teaching experience, while it was not a completely failure it served
as a very important lesson to me. It was not until I was placed into a teaching situation that I fully
realised not everyone is going to excell, and that one cannot expect the whole class to be able to pick
up a sport in one lesson. Nick
What Is My Personal Experience Essay
Everyone has been through a personal experience, whether it has changed their lives for better or
worse. These experiences can be eclectic events such as going out to explore the world or even
devastating events such as tragic accidents. My personal experience occurred a year ago during the
summer when I took a trip to visit San Francisco, Californiawith my family. This trip to San
Francisco was a thrilling adventure due to the city being very beautiful and breathtaking. During
my visit to the city I was able to take part in the beaches, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Six Flags.
To begin with, the beaches near San Francisco are stunning. California has nice weather during the
summer to attend beaches because it is not too hot or chilly outside. ... Show more content on

My family and I were able to cross the famous bridge a few times in the car as we traveled a bit
around California. The view from the bridge was beautiful during the day and as well at night. It
was nice during the day to see the sun sparkling on the water as boats sailed by, but appealing
during nightfall because of the bright lights on the bridge. Also, the city lights around it brought
out the overall awe of the bridge. During one of our passing on the bridge, we were able to make a
quick stop at the top of the hill and take a few family pictures together with the bridge. My brother
would tease me every time anyone brings up our visit to the Golden Gate Bridge because I was
afraid to stand near the edge of the mountain to take our family photos since I imagined I was
going to slip and fall. Furthermore, as we traveled through the bridge I had noticed telephone
posts on either side of the bridge. These telephones were for the suicidal people who thought it
was time to end their lives. The telephones were used to connect those who were suicidal to a
counselor to help talk them out of committing such a tragedy. They may have helped saved plenty
lives. It has been known by many that the Golden Gate Bridge is one of the many bridges that
countless of people tend to go to in order to attempt
Handguns Should Not Be Banned Handguns
Gun violence, especially that as caused by handguns, is a major problem in America. It affects
millions of people annually, and the effects it has are irreversible. However, this reality does not
constitute for a complete ban on the private ownership of handguns. A ban on the private ownership
of handguns should not be enacted on the grounds that the United States government ought to
preserve democratic legitimacy and constitutionalism, and a ban is not feasible or just in America s
political climate. Every day, 282 people are shot in the United States but this is not merely the result
of the array of firearms available in this country. Instead, a minority of the guns that Americans own
are responsible for much of this violence.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Wintemute and Teret, professors at Johns Hopkins University attribute this to the shame associated
with mental health in America. Data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation reveals that from
1990 to 1997, 90,000 of the 147,000 suicides committed were committed with a firearm―a tribute to
the handgun s operational simplicity and effectivity. Overall, handguns are responsible for seventy
percent of firearm suicides. Douglas Wiebe of the University of California Los Angeles School of
Public Health conducted a nationally representative study which revealed that ninety four percent of
gun related suicides would not have occurred had a gun not been present.
A motley of international examples provide proof of concept for a national handgun ban. For
example, the Australian prime minister announced in 1996 that Australia would be enacting a
national handgun ban, and guns would be collected through a gun buyback program. This resulted in
the confiscation of 650,000 guns, a forty two percent drop in the homicide rate, and a fifty seven
percent drop in the firearm suicide rate. In addition, no mass shootings have occurred since the ban, a
sharp contrast to the thirteen shootings that took place in the thirteen years before. The homicide
rate also fell to less than one per one hundred thousand, while the United States hovers at five per one
hundred thousand. Professor Donahue of Stanford University attributes this to more than merely the
Sustainable Development Of Private Enterprise
The primary objective of these two books is the sustainable development of private enterprise, and
despite fact that they have been in existence for a couple of years since production, the content and
key topics remain extremely pertinent to current arguments about sustainability of the environment,
and climatic change. The commitment made by the two books is best comprehended by viewing
them in connection to the idea of sustainable development.
The two books begin by a thought of sustainability that does not debilitate but rather is perfect and
well matched with capitalism, fully supports it and does not threat a wage labor scheme of
producing products for profit. According to John Ikerd s book Sustainable Capitalism: A Matter of
Common Sense tries to challenge, the inherent lack of sustainability in the neoclassical paradigm. It
also supports a new method for accomplishing maintainable capitalism. According to Ikerd (2005),
neoclassical economic matters are the reason behind the absence of sustainability in the United
States agricultural sector, and the broader American economy. Along these lines, he attempts to build
up other economics of sustainability in view of standards of living frameworks that are self
sufficient and fit for regeneration. Ikerd (2005) he claims that sustainability is considered to be the
most obvious aspect by those firmly associated with the earth (on the same page) for which, in his
view, he is appropriately qualified, having been brought up
The Sauron of Santo Domingo
The many references by Junot Diaz to J.R.R. Tolkien s universe in The Brief Wondrous Life of
Oscar Wao prove to be more than just an allusion to the fantastical works. The recurring
comparisons of the Trujillato to the power of Sauron are more than just metaphors. They are
descriptions. Diaz uses his references to describe people and situations, in real life, that have no
other way of being described. The first direct quote of Oscar de Leon is, What more sci fi than
Santo Domingo? What more fantasy than the Antilles? (6). Diaz gives direct meaning to this
statement through Yunior s knowledge and love of the speculative genre, which he picked up from
Oscar, and parallels the world we live in with the fantastical world of Middle Earth,... Show more

Although Shelob lives in Sauron s domain, he does not have any direct control over her. Also, just
as Shelob never hesitates to prey on both man and orc, so too La Fea cheated everyone she did
business with, including her brother (139). Diaz uses the allusion to explain even what the sister
of Trujillo thinks, knowing that Shelob does not like to kill her prey right away, instead stinging
them and leaving them paralyzed before she actually kills them. This method is used against Beli
as well; when La Fea orders her orcs to capture Beli, she is beaten to the brink of death, but not
killed. The perfection and detail of Diaz s allusion goes much deeper than a simple metaphor, and
actually defines who this character is.
When Tolkien originally wrote The Lord of the Rings, he did so as reference to World War II, which
was ongoing at the time. For him, Sauron was a representation of Hitler; the gaze of His Eye, the
spread of industrialization and destruction from the war. For Diaz, Sauron is Trujillo, the gaze of
His Eye, the domination he exerted, as well as the anonymity of his secret police. It was one thing
for Diaz to make the comparison of Trujillo to Sauron, but he now affirms his argument by adding
figurative subtext to it. Diaz writes that Trujillo s beloved Morgul Lords [were the
