Brown Vs Board Of Education Case Study
Brown vs. the Board of Education Introduction: At the end of the Civil War the newly freed slaves
now face a new source of oppression to their society. The court cases before the Brown vs the
Board of education is an abundant amount of examples of oppression in the education reform.
The Court cases: In Murray v. Maryland a court case in 1936. This court cases occurred in the
state in Maryland. In the University Of Maryland School Of Law were rejecting applicants solely
due to their race. In 1933 a man named Thurgood Marshall Application was rejected due to his
race. He went to the court to argue of the dispute and seek aid for education. Thurgood stated that
he was just as qualified as a white man. He argues that the University Of Maryland School Of
Law violated the separate but equal principle. The court asked him why he didn t attend a black
law school. He replies that Black law schools are nowhere near a white law schools in prestige and
education value. The court adhered Thurgood message and rules toward Marshall. The court ruled

The 14th amendment added legal right to the newly freed slaves. The 14th amendment or the equal
right clause gave all men guaranteed equal action against the law. Finally in 1870 with the
ratification of the 15th amendment, states can t prohibit African Americans the right to vote due to
their race. Although there were many laws and regulation the African American was treated different
in the U.S especially the South. With many federal law desegregating the nation, the state legislation
made segregation worse. Mainly in the South state legislation made it legal to make segregation by
race. In the south a campaign of laws to segregate were known as Jim Crow laws. Although the
society remained oppressed many step up and fought the

This is a great concern because autism rate have been increasing in the society without any tangible
facts that can explain the causes. Some researchers have show a number of genes associated with
autism and Imaging studies of children with autism have discover some strange development of
regions of the brain. This means that autism might result from disruptions in normal brain growth in
early development. These disruptions may affect how cells of the brain communicate with each
other and result to defects in genes that regulate and control brain development. Studies show that
autism disorder is more rampant among the premature children. Environmental factors may have
impact in defect gene and brain development, but there is no real evidence to prove and show that
environmental involve in development of this disorder. Many studies have made it clear that
vaccination for childhood infectious diseases does not contribute the risk of autism in the
Bullying And Bullying
When I was in 4th grade I experienced bullying inside my classroom through my classmates. These
boys would swear to and about me. I felt such sadness when these boys would bully me. This went
on for about 2 months. Finally I told my teacher, Mr. Kohn about this incident and what was
happening, he talked with the boys. Violence can cause sadness, and bad thoughts in a person s
brain. Violence is caused in young people s lives when youthbully other youth, conflict begins
between family or friends, and jealousy between friends or even family. Have you ever thought of
living in a world where kids are always hurting and bullyingother kids? A world where not only kids
but adults fight and hurt each other too? This is exactly what or will happen if youth and adults
aren t careful with everything you say or do. In 2016 a girl committed suicidebecause of bullying
inside and outside her school. Not only where people bullying her face to face but also people
where bullying her on her phone and on the internet, or another word for it, cyberbullying. In
bullyingstatistics.org it says, Bully related suicide can be connected to any type of bullying,
including physical bullying, emotional bullying, cyberbullying, and sexting, or circulating
suggestive or nude photos or messages about a person. There are not only affects of violence but
there are also ways to prevent violence.
Not only is violence caused by bullying but it is also caused by conflict inside the family and with
friends.
What Is The Theme Of The Bell Jar
THE BELL JAR The Bell Jar is considered the first American feminist novel by many people. The
main character is Esther Greenwood.Esther thinks that she faces sexual double standards in
society. She has stable thoughts about her sexual status. She is a virgin and this constantly weighs
on her mind.As she says When I was nineteen, pureness was the great issue. Instead of the world
being divided up into Catholics and Protestants or Republicans and Democrats or white men and
black men or even men and women, I saw the world divided into people who had slept with
somebody and people who hadn t, and this seemed the only really significant difference between one
person and another.(Slyvia Plath,The Bell Jar,s.66) She believes that a woman must be avirgin when
she gets married. But she assumes the same for men.But she discovers that Buddy Willard is not a
virgin.He has
Police Dispatcher Observation
On Monday January 29, 2018 I was responding to a call of shots fired at College Villa Apartments
when I heard Gautier Police Dispatchers announce there was a white vehicle leaving the scene.
As I was travelling down Ladnier Road I observed a white vehicle turn north onto ladnier from
College Villa and immediately turn around and head onto West Park Drive. I proceeded to follow
the vehicle, as I turned onto West Park I observed the vehicle pull into a driveway and cut their
lights off. As I pulled close I observed a dark figure run from the car towards the back yard. As I
exited my vehicle i was rushed by two females stating their cousin had been shot, then two other
females appeared from the front corner of the house screaming she s been shot do something . I
observed a Black female lying half in the seat half in the floor board behind the drivers seat. I
approached the vehicle and noticed the female was still breathing but bleeding profusely from the
mouth area. While trying to keep the females out of the vehicle and secure the scene the best I
could the female stopped breathing, I then checked for a pulse and was not able to find one.... Show

Once they were secured I directed Officer Bell to get the Police Tape from my trunk and tape off
the area as it was a crime scene. Acadian Arrived on scene about 2400hrs and started to provide
medical aid while I remained doing CPR. Acadian Paramedic Adam Pitalo called time of death at
00:09 hrs. At this point I was notified Gautier Police Dispatch that Acadian called the time of death
and I began trying to find out who the victim
Pros And Cons Of Caadavers
The use of Cadavers in my view, and from my experience of working and studying in the dissection
lab of the National University of Ireland, Galway is one of the best ways human anatomy can both
be taught and learnt and I believe is an essential aspect in the study of educational anatomy and
should be utilised in the learning of anatomywhere possible. The active, hands on exploration that
cadaveric dissections provide, joined with excellent teaching methods makes for an interesting yet
challenging method of learning anatomy. In saying this, I do believe that there are both pros and
cons associated with the study of cadaveric anatomy.
My first time entering a dissection room, my initial emotion was fascination. This fascination
stemmed from ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
But the question still remains, to what extent can these apps and systems be used in the learning
and understanding of anatomy? Are they 100% reliable in terms of accuracy and correct
information? Can these computerised resources replace cadaveric dissections? And finally, are they
possibly the best method to utilise in the learning and understanding of anatomy? Answers to these
questions may differ from person to person, but I personally believe that the role that a cadaver
plays in the processing, digestion and assimilation of information that has been taught in lectures is
paramount as from my experience of using these systems, and trying to learn from them, I feel like
in terms of the positioning of anatomical structures such as muscles and nerves, these 3D visuals
fall short. They provide only a rough and vague indication of the location of structures and
sometimes don t provide an accurate representation of the structures in comparison to viewing them
on a gross specimen. They lack the aspect of precision that a cadaver would provide in terms of
location, shape and size of anatomical structures. The idea that students can one day be taught a
completely new topic, for example, the Brachial Plexus, and the next day enter into a dissection
The Columbine Massacre
The Columbine Massacre Were They Pushed or Did They Jump What would drive two seemingly
normal high schoolers to try and slaughter everyone they went to school with? Was it the bullying,
angst or video games and movies? Or none of the above. As we examine what led up to one of the
worst domestic terrorist acts in American history I think we ll that find Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold
weren t your average teenagers. In my opinion they were cold blooded killers who had every
intention to take as many lives as they could. At approximately 11:10 on April 20th 1999, Eric
Harris and Dylan Klebold went to their high schooland carried out a coordinated attack, killing
twelve students and one teacher before eventually turning the guns on themselves.... Show more

He makes statements like The pain multiplies infinitely. Never stops. Yet I m here, STILL alone,
still in pain. ... I d rather have nothing than be nothing. One of the last pages in Dylan s journal
was him and Eric s plan for the massacre and it goes like this. Walk in, set bombs at 11:09, for
11:17. Leave. Drive to clemete Park. Gearup. Get back by 11:15. Park cars. Set car bombs for
11:18. Get out, go to outside hill, wait. When first bombs go off, attack. Have fun! Dylan s
journals start off very suicidal and progressively more hateful until him and Eric are on the same
level and were set on completing their final mission. During their senior year Eric and Dylan
starred in a short film for a class called Hitmen for Hire where they foreshadowed themselves
walking around Columbine in their trenchcoats and talked about relocating other students. Even
though in the film they talk about killing other students that are bullying another student, who hires
Eric and Dylan for twenty dollars a day to protect him, Eric says you know we can t have weapons
on school grounds. There are too many similarities to think that this short film for a class was simply
just that, I believe at this time (December 1998) the duo had a plan and they were intentionally
foreshadowing it through this
