Holocaust Essay
Death and Humanity in the Holocaust
Within the twentieth century, what event stands out to you as the most inhumane treatment of
fellow humans. Without a doubt, most would agree that the Holocaust completely matches this sad
frame of reference. The Holocaust in Germany was an unspeakable event in human history. In this
terrible act, at its worst in Poland, was the direct cause of the deaths of 62.7% of the Jewish
population in Europe (History 1). It is obvious that two themes stand out during this time period
death and humanity, or inhumanity for that matter.
The Holocaust was a blemish, not only on the 20th century, but in the entire history of humanity. The

There was little, if any economic gain; in fact, one would think that the Holocaust brought
economic loss to Germany because Jews owned a greater majority of the shops at the time. The
Jews represented absolutely no threat to the German nation, nor to the Nazi party as a whole (Judy
1). The rational nature of its execution, its efficiency, calculability, predictability and control are
even more inhumane in that every extermination system was planned to kill as many Jews as
possible, as fast as possible. This methodical slaughter of 11 to 12 million human beings began in
late 1938 and ended in 1945. Of the approximately 6 million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, more
than half were systematically exterminated in the inhumane death traps, such as furnaces and gas
chambers, of the Nazi Death Camps between 1942 and 1945 (History 1).
The names Treblinka, Auschwitz Birkenau, Dachau, Chelmno, Sobibor, Belzek and Majdanek are
indelibly stamped on history as poster children for death and inhumanity. The

Adult Development And Wellness In Older Adults
Older Adult Development and Wellness
We all are surrounded by older adult, and we know that we have so many considerations related to
them. We all need to understand how physical, mental and psychological changes occurs with
advancing age and how it is different for each person. Some people stay healthy, some are
surrounded by all kind of disease, and it all depends upon circumstances in an individual s life.
Some older adults are physically active, intelligent and socially engaged until the time of their death.
Although, we all have misconception that all older adults are physically, mentally and socially
impaired, but the truth is that they get discouraged by the way people think about them. It is true
that most of the older adult tend to have all kind of disorders like delirium, dementia, Alzheimer s
disease, ischemic vascular dementia (IVD) and depressions, however we need to educate and
encourage them to be healthy and teach them how to prevent all those kinds of disorders. ... Show

believe that retiring at early age pushes people to loneliness and they tend to have more conflict in
life which can lead to disappointments. Death of their spouse, housing and environmental changes
can often lead to more stress and disease. When people get too stress, that is when they make poor
life choices and that is how they become victim of social
The Circular Flow Diagram Analysis
The circular Flow diagram that I created above contains these sectors such as Domestic firms,
Household, the rest of the world and Government. The diagram illustrates the continuous
movement of money for goods and services between producers and consumers. The household
sector includes everyone; such as you and me we are buying products from everyone and selling
our work. So this is everyone who may be seeking to satisfy unlimited wants and needs.
Households are responsible for consumption. It also owns all productive resources. The household
interact more with domestic firms. The Domestic Firms includes institutions such as corporations
and partnerships. Their job in the diagram is to combine resources to produce goods and services.
So this means the responsibility for this sector is to produce. The Government sector which
includes the federal and local government. This section contains of collecting taxes. The Rest of
the world section provides imports and exports of services and goods. When we send money to
firms we get products and services. We can also send the money to the rest of the world and that s
when we import goods. When money comes from the rest of the world to firms this is called
exporting. Money that comes from Domestic Firms to households are wages or rent. We also see
money going from household to government as taxes and the same with the domestic firms giving
money to the government it is also taxes. Government to house holds which are transfer

Descriptive Essay On The Fair
Cock a doodle dooo! Is what the rooster said when I had first stepped inside of the poultry barn at
the Wisconsin Valley Fair. For as long as I can remember, I had always wanted to show something
at the fair, and my mind was set, after firmly debating about pigs, I would be showing chickens. It
all really started when I was about six or seven, when my family and I went to the fair. It didn t
matter that showing wasn t going on, I just wanted to see all of the animals. I was the most fascinated
by the pigs. The way they look, sleep, and eat. The whole ride home, I was talking about how
much I wanted to show pigs, but then, out of nowhere, my dad came in with the whole we can t
keep pigs, we don t have a place for them.
Then I replied to him, we have the barn, how come we can t put pigs in there.
Of course, he had an immediate counter answer, the barn is; damp, somewhat moldy, and falling
down. We can t hold animals in there! Plus with pigs, they ll rub up on everything, and knock
everything over, and eat everything!
Well, I guess if we have chickens, and know how to take care of them, I guess I could show them
at the fair, I grumbled. Besides, I knew that eventually I was going to lose the fight, so why keep it
going when I could just show something at the fair like I ve always wanted to.
In order to take something to the fair, you need to enroll in 4 H. In 4 H, you have a club, mine is

A task force concluded, the past segmentation did not fully address the emerging shift in customer
needs (Xiameter Case Study). Dow Corning had to thus try different segmentation variables,
alone and in combination to find the best way to view the market structure. (Kotler et al, 2008).
Despite companies segmentation practices, customers decide for themselves what their required
needs are, once this was realized by Dow Corning, evident from their self audit, and 5 years of
customer surveys and discussions with sales force. They reviewed their segmentation to a needs
based segmentation scheme (Xiameter Case Study). Target market The major advantage of the
needs based segmentation open a new differentiated target market coverage strategy, Dow Corning
could now target several market segments with separate value added offerings for each, if
required. This evidently, resulted in higher product sales and a stronger positioning, and a greater
market share within each market segment. Product and price strategies A product can be a product
or a service. If your product provides sufficient value to customers, they will buy no matter how
good or bad the economic situation is, if they perceive value they will pay the price (Wood, 2010).

colonialism the people were one, united by a common culture and its rites. But with the advent of
colonialism, there was conflict: some people accept the new religion, christanity, which condemned
the indigenous culture, especially female circumcision as barbaric. This caused a bitter strife among

Comparing Romeo And Juliet
I have read the text version of Romeo and Juliet when I was a secondary student. In order to
comprehend the story deeply, I have watched Romeo Juliet (1968 film) recently. This film won
many award and was very successful. Romeo and Juliet was popular, especially among teenagers
since it is a romance film (Romeo and Juliet, 2014).

Romeo Juliet is generally known as a sad story. This tragedy believed to occur by chance or by
destiny (Studymode, 1999). Those people criticized Romeo for falling in love too quickly. However,
it is reasonable as they were teenagers. Perhaps Romeo and Juliet were falling in love too quickly,
it does not mean that it was just a puppy love and they did not know what love really is (Romeo
and Juliet, 2014). Even if they were teenagers and they were probably did not have any experiences,
they still have another chance to love somebody. People should not criticize that their love was
immature.

Nowadays, falling in love with a person is not really difficult. Some of the people even have a
love triangle. In the past, people could just meet someone who arranged by their parents. And, they
probably got married at the end. They did not want to being married, but they had no choice. Back
to now, not only in Europe, people in Hong Kong, they can choose who they want to being with.
We can see that there are big difference between the past and now. For now, we have more freedom
on love.

Romeo was a passionate, clever and moody teenager. He was loyal to

Acute Coronary Heart Disease Essay
Coronary heart disease have three clinical types; Non ST segment elevation acute coronary
syndrome (NSTE ACS), unstable angina and non ST segment elevation myocardial infarction
(NSTEMI).Among them NSTE AC have high mortality rate. Correct diagnosis and early
management are important to improve clinical cardiac events in patients with Non STEMI. The
manifestation of serious cardiovascular adverse events varies markedly in ACS patients with
enzyme markers, typical clinical features and electrocardiogram (ECG). Risk stratification may be
helpful for the planning of early treatment program with drugs or coronary angioplasty. However,
the accuracy of disagreement risk stratification such as normal or elevated value of troponin,
normal or abnormal ECG is inadequate for prognosis interpretation, more information is needed.
Global Registry of Acute Coronary Events (GRACE) (range 2 to 372) in Myocardial Infarction
risk scores have been widely used for prognosis anticipation in patients with ACS. The factorss of
the GRACE risk score are age, heartrate, Killip class, cardiac arrest, systolic bloodpressure, serum
