Restroom Procedure
The students will only be allowed to use the drinking fountain or the sink during break times.
The procedure to use the restrooms is to have one student at a time use this facility. I will have a sign
out sheet for the students to keep track of the student. I will also teach the students restroom
procedures, such as, flushing the toilet and washing their hands.
Centers and equipment areas will only be used when I give the students permission. I will post rules
with instructions for when the students use equipment. The procedure for knowing what center they
will start with is dividing the students into four groups and writing their group numbers on the
board. This way the students will know where they are supposed to go next when the timer goes off.

If I want to use popsicle sticks to call on students I will tell the students to put their hands down.
This will allow students who have not yet spoken get a chance to talk.
I will allow student to talk among themselves only when they are doing activities or working
together. I will have procedures to keep the noise level down. Before the students get into their
groups or with their partner I will teach them how quiet it should sound like when they are working
together. When the noise level gets too loud, I will turn off the lights to signal the students they have
reached a loud noise level.
When students need help, I will teach them to raise their hands. They will not be allowed to come
up to me, because it can distract other students. Also, I do not want 20 students coming up to me at
the same time. The procedure for obtaining help is to have the students raise their hands and wait
to be called on. The students will also be allowed to come to my desk and ask a question only when I
am not working with another student and they have raised their
Comparison Of Immanuel Kant And Karl Popper
Introduction: The purpose of this writing assignment is to compare and contrast concepts from
two philosophers that were discussed during the course and relating them to the choice of object.
The two philosophers that I have chosen for this assignments are, Immanuel Kant and Karl
Popper. For Immanuel Kant s theory/concepts I have chosen are Enlightenment and Public and
Private Use of Reason and for Popper, I have chosen the 3 stage model and Falsifiability concepts.
The object that I have chosen is a popular television show called Law and Order: Special Victims
Unit (SVU) in terms of how they work and solve crimes. The relationship between both authors and
the object is that they all involve a great deal of analyzing, use of voice and critical thinking.

Immanuel Kant: Immanuel Kant, is known as one of the most distinguished figures in the Western
philosophy. He is especially known for his writing on Enlightenment which was one of the concepts
that was discussed in the beginning of course. According to Kant, he defined enlightenment as self
incurred is this tutelage when its cause lies not in lack of resolution and courage to use it without
direction from another. (Kant,___) Kant believed that the second you are born who are completely
dependent on your parent(s)/caregiver(s) for survival. As we transition into the other stages of life
such as, toddler, preteen, teenager, we are still very dependent. Until, we reach the age of where we
have to take
The Importance Of The Father And My Father
The man that I admire more than anyone else is my dad, Bryan J. McCormick. My dad has a love
for his family like nobody I ve ever met before. My dad is my shoulder to lean on. My father is a
self made man, with the strongest willpower of anyone I have ever met. He has taught me what it
means to be a hard worker and the value of a dollar. But most importantly, my dad is a man of God.
Respectis a very important thing and my father is the man who taught me what it feels like to not be
respected and that no matter what I should always treat everyone I meet with respect.
I am the daughter of a farmer. My dad is a farmer and everyday he gets up before dawn and doesn
t come home until after dark. He works long grueling hours in the sweltering heat and blistering
cold. Sometimes, dad has to help birth baby calves during the frigid air of the winter and early
spring. At an early age in my life my dad taught me how to look and listen rather than to ask
questions; for example, a cow can t use English to communicate but through observation my dad has
shown me that you will in fact still know exactly what she is saying.
My dad is a man of faith. My father has shown me the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. I
have heard my father, with his deep voice that roars like rumbles of thunder, pray all of my life. I
have witnessed my father pacing my hospital rooms before all of my surgeries, with a voice that
was thickly coated and trembling with worry, talking to God like He was right
The Reality Of The Universe
Our lives are limited, the majority of them ending just before becoming a century old. Our
collective age as a species is also miniscule, lasting only the hour before New Year s if the existence
of our universe was shrunk into a calendar year. This puts not only time, but our limitations into
perspective. Such vast numbers cannot be comprehended by our minds, hence the popular calendar
metaphor. Studying astronomy makes aware to us our limitations and thus reveals an awe inspiring
new realm that we could not have grasped even a glimpse of before.
Neil deGrasse Tyson begins us on our journey through the universe by giving us our cosmic address
where we are in our vast universe. It goes from as close to home as our planet, Earth, and as far out
as the observable universe, with the solar system, Milky Way galaxy, Local Group, and Virgo
Supercluster in between. Finding our place in the universe like this takes us through clusters of
stars separated by unimaginable amounts of empty space. Looking at ourselves in this way puts
everything into perspective and shows how small we are and how little we have truly explored. Not
only have we explored an amount so small that rounding it would equate to zero, our existence itself
has lasted an irrelevant duration in the history of the universe.
As far as we know, our universe is about 14 billion years old... we ourselves might live to be
between 80 and 100 on average. All of humanity has existed for only about 200,000 years. Viewing
Social Equality And Political Freedom
A) It is unsurprising that social equality and political freedom are positively correlated with
environmental protection and sustainability. This is observed as as environmental problems bear
down disproportionately upon the poor, who do not share the same equalities and freedoms as
others (Agyeman et al., p. 1). This relationship exists due to increased political power enjoyed by
the wealthy and required corporate profit maximization for shareholders. Political power and
voracious desire for profits is a dangerous combination. Put together, these two components form a
positive feedback loop because the wealthier someone becomes, the most political power he/she
gains. This relationship results in facilitated cost externalization on lower... Show more content on

(Agyeman et al., p. 6). This report serves as further evidence of the environmental injustices faced
by minorities who do not have the power to face the corporations who own the hazardous waste
facilities. It is laughable to think of what would occur if such a facility was proposed in Beverly Hills
or Montecito because the citizens would be up in arms with many lawyers and politicians. Because
predominantly ethnic and poor communities do not have such resources, they are unfairly subject to
pollution which results from profit maximization. In conclusion, corporations extracting additional
revenues damages the health of poor neighborhoods who do not have the capacity to resist the
pollution in their homes. Of the various definitions for sustainability and sustainable development
put forth by Agyeman, Bullard, and Evans, the most compelling and useful defines one sustainability
as the need to ensure a better quality of life for all, now, and into the future, in a just and equitable
manner, while living within the limits of supporting ecosystems (Agyeman et al., p. 2). This
definition is particularly suitable to sustainability because it captures its social justice component
rather than portraying it as a solely environmental issue. Another key part is the mentioning of intra
generational equity which is crucial because many people fighting for sustainability will not be able
to see the fruits of their labor but must still
Errors In The Medical Field
Medical transcription is a critical skill for administrative assistants; there are many rules which must
be followed impeccably, making it difficult for beginners to become proficient. It is important to
keep in mind, however, that even the most seasoned transcriptionists are prone to making mistakes.
To ensure accuracy, it is critical to run through the audio clip and the text document several times;
consequently, even the smallest of errors can jeopardize a patient s health. For example, transcribing
the incorrect measurements of a medication or other substance there is a notable difference between
a gram and a kilogram, for instance. Multiple mistakes also display carelessness, a disregard for the
well being of clients, and the reputation... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Insight about common medical terms, procedures, drug names, equipment, and other aspects of
the medical field makes identifying ambiguous terms easier, especially in a spoken format, as
demonstrated with transcription exercises. When all other resources are exhausted, figuring out
the intended word or phrase in an area of confusion can be as simple as asking for a second
opinion from those around you, whether it be a superior or a fellow colleague. Sometimes, when
an audio file is replayed multiple times, it can become muddled to our ears; revisiting the
transcription at a later time or asking someone with a well trained ear can help decipher what the
dictator is saying. The primary way to improve transcription skills is to practice; nevertheless, it is
important to utilize the aforementioned suggestions for preventing errors, and to remember to not
get discouraged when corrections need to be made. Medical transcription is a skill that is refined
over time, and making mistakes is simply a part of the learning
Who Is Iago s Jealousy In Othello
Jealousy is someting that can cloud the minds of even the most smartest people. It can friends
enemies and blur people s judgment and convince themselves of something that is false .throughout
the book anger is a big motivator for the characters.

Othello s Jealousy is mostly a figure of his imagination made from all of iago s lies and being
mislead. The ironic part about that is that iago said to othello beware, my lord, of jealousy! It is the
green eyed monster which doth mock, The meat it feeds on (III,iii,195 198). Iago is warning Othell
that nothing good can come from jealousy. Then Iago starts to question desdemona s loyalty but
othello gets mad and says No, Iago; I ll see before I doubt; when I doubt, prove; And on the proof,
there is no more (III,iii,220 223). Othello wants evidence of his claims before he finally decides if

this rumor is unconfirmed iago still thinks iago still thinks that his wife cheated on him with the

The Moon Research Paper
The Moon is very high ranking. Some people just look up at the Moon and don t realize how cool
and interesting it is. They don t understand the history behind it. They probably don t know about
the boldness of the Moon, which is very compelling. The Moon is a very essential factor of the
Earth. I wager that they don t know half of the fun facts that I will notify you. To begin, I will start
with the principle, the origin. It all initiated in the course of the time when the Earthwas formed 4.5
billion years ago. Other planets were progressing to form and generate contact with Earth. In the
process of making contact with Earth, it blew out rocks and debris. Most of the remains went into
orbit around the Earth and formed into the Moon. Most... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It takes 135 days to drive to the Moon by car if you go 70 mph the whole way. 70 mph means you
go 70 miles every hour, so you multiply that by 24 and you get 1680 miles. That means that you
drive 1680 miles every day. Multiply 135 by 1,680 and you get 226,800. That means that you go
226,800 miles in 135 days. Did you know there are mountains on the Moon? I didn t until I did
my research. The Moon takes 27 days to orbit Earth. The Moon is Earth s natural satellite. If there
were four same sized moons as Earth s satellite, all of them would fit into Earth. This is proven by
the Moon and Earth radius. The Moon s radius is 1,079 miles. The Earth s radius is 3,959 miles.
There are different names for the moon. Luna is the name from the Romans. Selene is the name
from the Greeks. We always see one side of the moon from Earth. You always see one side of a
sphere when you are looking at it from any point of view. The Moon causes tides on Earth. The
moon s highest mountain is about the same height of Mount Everest. Deepest crater is 4500 meters.
Some people see a man on the moon. The Moon is the fifth largest Moon in the solar system. White
flags are currently on the Moon because radiation has bleached out their united states colors. The
oldest Moon rock on the moon is 4.5 billion years old. The Moon is actually egg shaped. There is
no such thing as a perfect sphere. There are 120 impact craters. The moon is hot
Bizarre Fruit
Bizarre Fruit
In the mid 1930 s, the south would perform, what they believed to be acts of justice by hanging, or
lynching, black men who were convicted of doing a crime. The Poem Strange Fruit is an
interesting poem depicts a very horrid image of pure racism in the south and how lynchings were
such a gruesome image, and was meant to be a protest against the inhumanity of racism (Blair) .
The poem Strange Fruit was published in 1937 by Abel Meeropol after he viewed an image of a
lynching that occurred in the south. Meeropol was haunted by the image and was inspired to write
and publish the poem (Meeropol). Abel Meeropol was already against racism in America and when
he saw the appalling image of two African American people being lynched ... Show more content on

The elements of imagery are seen in the poem when Abel writes The bulgin eyes and the twisted
mouth (6). The sentence describes a very horrid image of how the African Americans looks as
they were being hanged against their will. This depicts imagery because it gives a very detailed
image in the reader s mind of how they looked like as they were hanged. Personification is present
in the poem Strange Fruit when Meeropol writes For the rain to gather, for the wind to suck (10).
This is personification because it gives the rain the trait of gathering things, and it also gives the
wind the trait of sucking. Within the poem, Meeropol also includes juxtaposition, for example when
he says Scent of magnolias sweet and fresh/ Then the sudden smell of burnin flesh (7 8). This is an
example of juxtaposition because it brings out the difference between the sweet smell of a flower,
and the bad dark smell of burning flesh, and it makes the difference between those things more
apparent. Throughout the poem Strange Fruit Meeropol also uses metaphors, such as when he puts
Southern trees bear a strange fruit (1) in his poem. The entire poem itself is a metaphor because the
poem compares African Americans that have been lynched, and the strange fruit that hangs from
trees. The poem is comparing the strange fruit to it actually being the African Americans that were
