From the 4th of March to the 28th of August 2024, I had the immense privilege of serving as an
intern at Ecovis Malaysia PLT, a distinguished and officially registered certified public accountant
firm with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). First and foremost, I am profoundly grateful
to Allah S.W.T, whose divine guidance and strength have steered me on the righteous path
throughout my training. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to my parents, whose unwavering support
and understanding have been a cornerstone of my journey.

I seize this moment to express my deep appreciation to my esteemed senior and associate audit,
whose sagacious guidance and steadfast mentorship have kept me on course and allowed me to
undertake my project within their esteemed organization. I am equally indebted to our illustrious
audit manager, Mrs Sylvia whose sage advice and insightful guidance have been indispensable
during my practical training.

Gratitude is also due to Dr Rizwana, the lecturer overseeing practical training, whose persistent
guidance has been a beacon of support whenever challenges arose. I am profoundly thankful to Miss
Norhaslinda for his generous allocation of time to visit and evaluate our practical training.
Additionally, I must acknowledge the camaraderie and encouragement of my friends, whose support
has been invaluable during this period.

The internship at Ecovis Malaysia PLT presented a golden opportunity for profound learning and
professional development. I was privileged to encounter a vast array of experiences and collaborate
with a diverse group of professionals. What rendered this experience particularly unique was the
trust placed in me to undertake significant tasks and challenging assignments. This distinctive
approach is what elevates Ecovis Malaysia PLT in my esteem and rendered my internship
exceptional. The firm challenges you to embrace as much responsibility as possible, even at the risk
of initial errors, fostering tremendous growth.

I regard this opportunity as a monumental milestone in my career trajectory. I wish to express my

experience covering a wide range of industries. A distinguished alumnus of a prestigious university,
holding a ACCA, Mr. Mr. Chua Kah Chun is a venerable member of the Malaysian Institute of
Accountants. His prodigious journey in the profession began at a leading international chartered
accountants firm in Malaysia, where he garnered invaluable experience and expertise. Fueled by an
indomitable spirit and visionary foresight, he resolved to establish his own practice, leading to the
inception of Ecovis Malaysia PLT. He was previously attached with an international public accounting
firm and was involved in audit, corporate advisory and tax advisory work for clients ranging from SME
to multinational corporations as well as public listed companies.Mr Chua has vast exposure in
corporate exercises such as Due Diligence for Mergers & Takeovers, and as Reporting Accountant for
numerous Initial Public Offering (IPO) engagements of the firm.

Finance. Furthermore, he holds prestigious licenses issued by the Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants(ACCA) , Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia, and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board
(PCOAB),The Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales (ICACW)and CPA Australia.His
professional acumen and extensive experience, encompassing a significant tenure as Director in
Assurance and Business Advisory at a leading medium-sized accounting firm in Malaysia, have
equipped him with a profound understanding of the intricacies of the profession.
