SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

Section 1. All students must attend the flag ceremony in the morning and the flag retreat in
the afternoon.

Section 2. Students must wear the complete and proper uniform

Section 3. Policy on absences includes the following:

a. Students must present an excuse letter signed by the parents to the adviser on
the first day he reports to class after the absence is incurred.
b. In the case of three consecutive absences of any duration, the parent/ guardian
of the student will be asked to report personally to the adviser to explain the
students frequent absences
c. Absences from specific subjects are considered as cutting classes and will be
dealt with by the subject teachers and advisers up to the third offense
d. Frequent absenteeism and cutting classes beyond the three consecutive
absences and third offense shall be referred to the Prefect of Discipline and
guidance counselor for the necessary sanction and intervention

Section 4. Proper grooming for students should be observed. Dyed/colored hair is not
allowed. Male students should have short haircuts.

Section 5. Students shall maintain classroom and school cleanliness by throwing their
garbage in the proper disposal containers. Anyone caught littering in any area of
the school premises will be asked to clean that area by the school personnel who
had observed the violation

Section 6. All students are mandated to show proper courtesy to school officials, parents and
visitors of all ages and at all times. Safety from harm and threat of all persons
especially of children and students should always be ensured by respecting each
other rights as a person.

Section 7. Bullying behaviors like name calling, punching, slapping, deliberate destruction or
taking away of another students property, giving threats and other similar
behaviours are highly prohibited and is considered as a serious offense

Section 8. The following practices are not allowed within the school premises:

a. Wearing of earrings and long haircut for male students.


b. Use of cellphones or other electronic devices inside the classroom especially
during discussion.
c. Joining unrecognized organizations like fraternities, sororities and other
similar organizations.
d. Vandalism and destruction of any school property.
e. Creating and provoking commotion involving schoolmates or outsiders during
class hours or any school sanctioned activities.
f. Smoking cigarettes, drinking of alcoholic beverages and use of illegal drugs.
g. Any form of gambling with or without money involved.
h. Carrying and use of deadly weapons during school days and any school
activity.
i. Loitering inside and outside the school premises while classes are conducted.

Section 9. Misconduct committed outside the school may not be punishable except when it
involves his status as a student, the reputation of the school or the incident
disrupts the academic process

Section 10. Reports of violation may be done by any school personnel student or parent to
the Prefect of Discipline subject to investigation. If found guilty as reported, the
prefect of discipline shall give the necessary sanctions for offenses committed by
the student

Section 11. Sanctions will range from reprimand, admonishment, and warning exclusion
from any class, expression of apology, suspension and expulsion. The gravity of
the offense committed and the circumstances behind its commission will
determine the nature of the disciplinary action be imposed

Section 12. Cases of persons involved in all reported incidents both victims and perpetrators
will be referred to the Guidance Counselor after investigation is conducted, after
the incidents occurrence or while the sanction has been given depending on the
case and needs of the persons involved.

Prepared and approved by the Guidance Counselor, Prefect of Discipline and Principal.
