CHAPTER-1
INTRODUCTION
OF INPLANT

12
Engineering is a great career path to consider! As an engineer, you serve the public in
creative and challenging ways, hopefully giving you the job satisfaction you desire.
Position titles such as Maintenance Engineer, Communications Engineer, Nuclear
Engineer and Environmental Engineer are only a handful of the career choices available to
you as an engineer.
There are job descriptions out there that use the word “engineer,” yet they fail to
embody the true definition of an engineer. An engineer is someone who uses the
application of scientific principles to practical ends in the construction, design and
operation of economical and efficient structures, equipment and systems. While many of
these jobs are still very important, they do not necessarily require a 4-year degree from an
engineering college.
This implant training is a stepping stones, which will groom me for my future in the
industrial world.
1.1 Need:
In-plant training provides the industrial exposure to the students how to face the
industry once they put out from the campus. The practical knowledge is essential for all
students to get success in their job. Once the student steps in to industry they should be
ready to face competitive world with knowledge. The core competence area extending its
boundary daily as technology grows. Students needs to update day to day stub from
various innovative technologies. Job opportunity for students who has certificate on in-
plant training is high compare to non-train students, because the company will know that
student’s knowledge will be busted by in-plant training.
1.2 Scope:
One objective of in-plant training is to help the student bridge the gap between
academic theory and practical application and allow you the opportunity to explore a
career in any field. To obtain knowledge of the organization structure and operations. To
observe the conditions of the different departments and the opportunities those are
available. In- plant training provides opportunity to interact with people who have the
inside track and chance to build network within industry. The main reason behind making
a or researching this project is to know how the management works out to their employees
and their main motto is that-

13
 Achieve goals
 Gain a positive perspective
 Create the power to change
 Build self-esteem and capability
 Manage their own development
In Plant Training will provide an industrial exposure to the students as well as to
develop their career in the high tech industrial requirements. Reputed companies are
providing implant training to Students. After the successful completion of studies students
has to face this competitive world with this knowledge to face many problems and to find
the right solutions which is to be solved in the minimum duration of time. The implant
training is get totally different from the class environments.
1.3 Objectives:
 To get industry exposure.
 To work under factory discipline.
 To understand the psychology of the workers, their habits, attitudes and approach to
problems along with the practices followed either at factory or at site.
 To get familiarized with various Design, Manufacturing, Analysis, Automation and
Purchase, 5S, Six Sigma, TPM, Materials, Machines, Processes, Products and their
applications along with relevant aspects of Industry management.
 To understand the scope, functions and job responsibilities in various departments of
an organization.
 To provide comprehensive learning platform to students where they can enhance their
employ ability skills and become job ready along with real corporate exposure.
 To enhance students’ knowledge in one particular technology.
 To Increase self-confidence of students and helps in finding their own proficiency
 To cultivate student’s leadership ability and responsibility to perform or execute the
given task.
 To provide learners hands on practice within a real job situation.
1.4 Outcomes of Industrial Training
 Capability to acquire and apply fundamental principles of engineering.
 Become master in one’s specialized technology

14
 Become updated with all the latest changes in technological world.
 Ability to communicate efficiently.
 Knack to be a multi-skilled engineer with good technical knowledge, management,
leadership and entrepreneurship skills.
 Ability to identify, formulate and model problems and find engineering solution
based on a systems approach.
 Capability and enthusiasm for self-improvement through continuous professional
development and life-long learning
 Awareness of the social, cultural, global and environmental responsibility as an
engineer.
1.5 Limitation:
 Generally the organization does not allow outside to conduct any study or research
work in the organization. Therefore, get the project done in the organization was very
difficult.
 The time span for the project was very short which was of two months, which itself
act as constraint, moreover, studying the guidelines and applied it practically with in
such a short time span was a task of great pressure.
 It won’t pay much: Most companies hire interns on the cheap. Sometimes they don’t
pay anything at all. If you’re used to earning a paycheck or if you have mounting
student loan bills, an internship could create a financial burden.
 You may get the grunt work: Some employers or managers take advantage of
interns and give them mindless work that doesn’t build new skills. Interns can be
viewed as temporary labor, which isn’t how you want to be seen.
 You could get labeled: Sure you have a college degree. But with the title of “intern,”
people will think you’re still a student. This can be patronizing, and you may not gain
the respect you want. If you focus on hard work and high effort, this can be
overcome.
 The hours can vary: Internships may not be designed around normal business hours.
This can create problems if you like a consistent schedule. And interns are often
asked to do the late-night work to help the team.

CHAPTER-3
INTRODUCTION
TO HTML

21
3.1 Introduction to HTML?

 HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language

 HTML, or Hypertext Markup Language, forms the foundational code for structuring and
presenting content on the World Wide Web.
 An HTML document includes essential components like the <!DOCTYPE> declaration,
<html> root element, <head> for metadata, and <body> for visible content.
 HTML employs a system of markup tags enclosed in angle brackets (< >) to define and
categorize elements, such as headings, paragraphs, images, and links.
 HTML elements tell the browser how to display the content

3.2 History of HTML

HTML, which stands for Hypertext Markup Language, is the standard markup language
used to create and structure content on the World Wide Web. Its history dates back to the early
1990s. Here's an overview of the key milestones in the history of HTML:

 Origins (1989-1990):

HTML was first proposed by Tim Berners-Lee, a British computer scientist, while he was
working at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) in 1989. He wanted to create a
way for scientists to easily share research documents and collaborate on the emerging World
Wide Web. The first version of HTML was simple and only had basic elements like headings,
paragraphs, lists, and links.

The first version of HTML was written by Tim Berners-Lee in 1993. Since then, there
have been many different versions of HTML.

Following are some versions of HTML given below:

 HTML 2.0 (1995)

 HTML 3.2 (1997)
 HTML 4.0 and 4.01 (1997-1999)
 XHTML (2000-2002)
 HTML5 (2008-present)

 HTML5 (2008-present)

HTML5 development started in the early 2000s, and the first draft was published in 2008.
HTML5 is a major revision of the HTML standard, designed to address the evolving needs of the
modern web. It introduced numerous new elements and attributes to support multimedia,
semantic markup, canvas drawing, geolocation, and more. HTML5 also allowed developers to
build more interactive and rich web applications without relying heavily on third-party plugins
like Flash.

22
3.3 HTML Page Structure :
Below is a visualization of an HTML page structure:

3.4 Steps to run HTML programs in your device.

Step 1: Choose a Text Editor

You need a text editor to write your HTML code. You can use simple text editors like
Notepad (Windows), TextEdit (macOS), or more advanced editors like Visual Studio Code.

Step 2: Open the Text Editor

 On Windows: Go to the "Start" menu, search for "Notepad," and open it.
 On macOS: Go to the "Applications" folder, search for "TextEdit," and open it.
 For Visual Studio Code download and install the editor from their respective websites.

Step 2: Write HTML Code

In the text editor, start writing your HTML code. For example, you can create a simple
webpage with a heading and a paragraph

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>My First Webpage</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1>Hello, World!</h1>
<p>This is my first webpage.</p>

23
</body>
</html>

Step 3: Save the File:

 Click on "File" in the menu and choose "Save" or "Save As."
 Choose a location to save your HTML file. Make sure to give it a ".html" extension, like
"xyz.html."

Step 4: Open the HTML File in a Web Browser:

 Locate the saved HTML file on your computer.
 Double-click the file. It will automatically open in your default web browser, and you'll see
your HTML code as a webpage.

Step 5: View and Interact with Your Webpage:

 Your web browser will display the content you wrote in your HTML file.
 You can interact with the webpage just like any other website, clicking on links, viewing
images, and reading text.

3.5 HTML Layouts

HTML layouts involve strategically structuring your content using containers and elements,
combined with CSS techniques like Flexbox and CSS Grid to achieve your desired webpage
structure and responsiveness.

1. Containers and Divisions:

 HTML uses <div> elements as versatile containers to group and structure content for layout
purposes.
 Divs provide a way to organize sections of a webpage and apply styling or formatting.
2. Semantic Layout Elements:
 HTML5 introduces semantic elements like <header>, <nav>, <main>, <section>, and
<footer> for clearer layout structuring.
 Semantic elements enhance both the design and accessibility of web pages.
3. Flexbox for Simple Layouts:
 CSS Flexbox offers a straightforward way to create one-dimensional layouts, aligning items
horizontally or vertically within a container.
 Ideal for arranging navigation menus, sidebars, and simple content sections.
4. CSS Grid for Complex Grids:
 CSS Grid Layout enables precise two-dimensional layouts with rows and columns.
 Well-suited for creating advanced designs, like magazine-style content, image galleries, and
responsive card layouts.
5. Responsive Design with Media Queries:
 Media queries in CSS allow you to adapt layouts to different screen sizes and devices.

24
 Essential for creating responsive designs that provide optimal user experiences on various
devices.

Every website has a specific layout to display content in a specific manner.

1.6 Elements in HTML

An HTML element is defined by a start tag, some content, and an end tag.

The HTML element is everything from the start tag to the end tag:

<tagname> Content goes here... </tagname>

Examples of some HTML elements:

<h1>My First Heading</h1>

 CSS, which stands for Cascading Style Sheets, is a fundamental technology in web
development that enables you to control the visual presentation of HTML documents.
 It allows you to define how your web content should look, from fonts and colors to
layout and spacing.
 In essence, CSS separates the structure (HTML) and the design (CSS) of a web page,
making it easier to create visually engaging and user-friendly websites.What is CSS?

4.2 Need of CSS

 HTML was NEVER intended to contain tags for formatting a web page!
 HTML was created to describe the content of a web page, like:
<h1>This is a heading</h1>
<p>This is a paragraph.</p>
 When tags like <font>, and color attributes were added to the HTML 3.2 specification, it
started a nightmare for web developers. Development of large websites, where fonts and
color information were added to every single page, became a long and expensive process.
 To solve this problem, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) created CSS.

4.3 How to add CSS to HTML

There are several ways to add CSS styles to an HTML file. Each approach has its
own use cases and benefits. Here are the main ways to add CSS to an HTML file:

 Inline Styles:
Inline styles are added directly to individual HTML elements using the style
attribute. This method is useful when you want to apply unique styles to specific
elements.
Example :-
<p style="color: blue; font-size: 16px;">This is a blue paragraph with a font size of 16
pixels.</p>

 Internal Stylesheet:
An internal stylesheet is defined within the <style> element in the <head>
section of the HTML document. This method is suitable for small-scale styling within
a single HTML file.
Example :-

35
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<style>
p{
color: green;
font-size: 18px;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<p>This is a green paragraph with a font size of 18 pixels.</p>
</body>
</html>

 External Stylesheet: An external stylesheet is a separate CSS file linked to the HTML
document using the <link> element in the <head> section. This method is
recommended for larger projects or when you want to reuse styles across multiple
HTML files.
Example :-

Create a separate CSS file (e.g., styles.css):

/* styles.css */
p{
color: red;
font-size: 20px;
}

Link the CSS file in the HTML document:

/* document.html*/
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

36
<head>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
</head>
<body>
<p>This is a red paragraph with a font size of 20 pixels.</p>
</body>
</html>

 Imported Stylesheets:
Similar to the external stylesheet method, you can also use the @import rule within a
<style> block in the HTML <head> to include another CSS file.
Example :-
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<style>
@import url('styles.css');
</style>
</head>
<body>
<p>This paragraph uses styles from the imported CSS file.</p>
</body>
</html>

4.4 Selectors in CSS:

Selectors in CSS are patterns that define which HTML elements on a web page
should be targeted and styled. Selectors determine the scope and specificity of the
styling rules applied to those elements. Here are some common types of selectors:

 Element Selector: Selects all instances of a specific HTML element. For example, p
selects all <p> elements.
Example :-

37
p{
/* Styles applied to all <p> elements */
}

 Class Selector: Selects elements with a specific class attribute. Class selectors are
denoted by a period (.) followed by the class name.
Example :-
.button {
/* Styles applied to elements with class="button" */
}

 ID Selector: Selects a single element with a specific ID attribute. ID selectors are

denoted by a hash (#) followed by the ID name.
Example :-
#header {
/* Styles applied to element with id="header" */
}

 Universal Selector: The universal selector (*) selects all HTML elements on the page.

Example :-
*{
/*Styles applied to all html elements*/
}

4.5 Media query

 Media queries in CSS allow you to apply different styles based on various characteristics of
the user's device or viewport.
 Media queries are particularly useful for implementing responsive design, where your
website's layout and styling adapt to different screen sizes and devices.

 Here's the basic syntax of a media query:

@media media-type and (media-feature) {

38
/* Styles to apply when the media feature conditions are met */
}
Example :-

@media (max-width: 768px) {

/* Styles applied when viewport width is 768px or smaller */

}

@media (min-width: 1200px) {

/* Styles applied when viewport width is 1200px or larger */

}

4.6 JavaScript Introduction :

JavaScript is a versatile and widely-used programming language primarily utilized for
web development. It was created by Brendan Eich at Netscape Communications and first
appeared in 1995. JavaScript plays a crucial role in building interactive and dynamic elements
within web pages, enhancing user experience and functionality.

4.7 jQuery
jQuery is a popular JavaScript library that simplifies and enhances the process of
interacting with HTML documents, handling events, making AJAX requests, and performing
various other tasks on web pages. It provides a concise and easy-to-use syntax, making it
easier for developers to write JavaScript code.

4.8 How to use jQuery in HTML document

To use jQuery, you need to include the jQuery library in your HTML document. You
can either download the library and host it on your server or use a content delivery network
(CDN) to include it from an external source. Here's how you can use jQuery in your HTML
document:

Include jQuery via CDN:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<title>jQuery Example</title>
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.6.0.min.js"></script>
</head>
<body>
<!-- Your HTML content here -->

<script>
// Your jQuery code here
39
</script>
</body>
</html>

4.9 Baic jQuery example

jQuery code

$(document).ready(function() {
$(".toggle-btn").on("click", function() {
$("#content").toggle(); // Toggle visibility of the content
});
});

In this example, we are using jQuery to handle the click event of the button with the
class "toggle-btn." When the button is clicked, the jQuery function toggle() is called on the
element with the ID "content," which toggles its visibility (show if hidden, hide if visible).

CHAPTER-6
INTRODUCTION
TO BACKEND
FRAMEWORK

6.1. Introduction to Backend Framework

 Company has their personalized backend framework similar to cpanel.
 During internship we used ‘Doorstep’ learning platform which is used in training and
understanding about backend framework.
49
 It provides a graphical interface (GUI) which helps to reduce complexity and work become
more easy on it.
 It works on four pillars Option, Ledger, Role and Voucher.
 We can create form of these pillars with respect to the data and call those data on the web
page which is called call-rest.

6.2. Introduction to library

 In libraries there are set of predefined functions which helps us in call-rest on pillars.
 In library for each pillar separate group of functions are present to help in call-rest.
 Like ledger.php is a set of function which contain functions related to ledger pillar.
 Option.php contains set of functions related to option pillar.
 Role.php contains set of functions related to role pillar.
 Voucher.php contains set of functions related to voucher pillar.
 Each group of function contain some basic function like update(), new(), delete(), and some
specific functions like ledger_list_template() etc. functions.

6.3. Introduction to call-rest

 Basically call-rest refers to accessing data from server.
 Predefined functions in library makes call-rest more easy and efficient because we don’t want
to write repeated codes again and again.
 We can call-rest on every pillar mentioned above

6.4. Following are some queries used in call-rest and their respective output for all four pillars :

1. Option

CONCLUSIONS

We are at the end of this report . I have probably read everything and
also tested some pieces of code, and I'm sure we are now able to imagine our
future and advanced websites with Web Devlopment. Angular is single page
website which include Bootstrap ,CSS and HTML language
According to all the observation discussion, report is completed
successfully. Project is a challenging task but sufficient to get familiarized
with the world of websites .
I would like to thank Mr. C. P. Divate sir as well as Mr. Abhay
Revankar sir for his governance and guidance.
In most cases, people are afraid of the huge amount of work that they
can imagine in the first steps just before they start. But you have to believe in
yourself, Be confident, don't think too much about details or about
optimization. Try to make something simple, something that works. Then
you'll have ways to optimize and improve it. Websites are all about creativity
and new content. Your creativity and skills can make a website attractive and
trendy.
