Level 4. 35 번 지문
Sometimes, we tell a lie to get out of trouble. But
guess what? To hide one lie, we might have to tell
another one. The more we lie, the harder it gets to
remember everything. After a while, we might (A)
forget / remember what we said. This can make us
say things that don't match up. In the end, people
can find out the truth!
Mark Twain, a famous writer, said, "If you tell the
truth, you don't have to remember anything." This
means that when we are honest, we don't have to
try hard to (B) tell / hide a lie. Telling the truth is
easier and safer in the long run. Being honest
makes us feel (C) more / less worried. So when you
think of telling a lie, remember the saying: "Honesty
is the best policy.“
