501­17 Roof Opening Panel 2015 Edge


Removal and Installation Procedure revision date: 02/13/2015

Air Deflector

Special Tool(s) / General Equipment

Interior Trim Remover

Removal

1. Fully open the roof opening panel glass.

2. Disconnect the front of the acoustic seal and position aside for access.

Disconnect the air deflector body from the roof opening panel frame.
1. Release the locking tabs.
Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
2. Slide the air deflector body rearward and up to disconnect the air deflector body.

4. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

On both sides.
Remove the air deflector.
1. Press the locking tab inward to release the air deflector arm.

2. Slide the air deflector arm forward out of the frame rail to remove the air deflector.

Installation

1. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

On both sides.
Connect the air deflector arms.
1. Position the air deflector in the main track and slide rearward.
2. Lift on the air deflector arm and slide rearward to lock into position.

Install the air deflector body.


1. From inside the vehicle.
Position the air deflector alignment tabs.

2. NOTE: Make sure all alignment tabs are properly located and clips are snapped in place.

Slide the air deflector body onto the frame.

3. Attach the acoustic seal.

4. Carry out the roof opening panel initialization.
