Games:
 Grammar: Known irregular verbs with new
foods/ Verbs with prepositions for and with Journalist. (Go to different classrooms, tell
students to ask questions to students from the other
Irregular verbs are verbs that do not follow the regular classroom using the grammar and vocabulary to
pattern of adding -ed for the past tense: fill a chart.)

Eat – Ate Draw. (Give a student a word from the vocabulary


for them to draw on the board, let the other
Drink – Drank students guess which one it is.)

Some verbs are commonly paired with specific


prepositions to give meaning to the action. Here, the
prepositions are for and with:

Eat for: Refers to what someone ate as part of a meal.

Drink with: Refers to what someone drank


accompanying a meal.
