INTRODUCTION

Tourism is one of the fastest-growing industries globally, significantly contributing

to the economic growth of many nations. According to the World Tourism
Organization (UNWTO), in 2019, the global tourism industry generated over 10%
of the world's GDP and provided employment for approximately 330 million
people, accounting for 1 in 10 jobs worldwide. Vietnam has mirrored this global
trend, experiencing remarkable growth in tourism, particularly in coastal cities such
as Nha Trang.

Nha Trang, located in Khanh Hoa Province, is one of Vietnam’s most renowned
tourist destinations, celebrated for its extensive coastline, breathtaking natural
landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Nha Trang
welcomed over 7 million visitors in 2019, including approximately 3.6 million
international tourists, marking an 18% increase from the previous year (Khanh Hoa
Department of Tourism, 2020). Tourism revenue contributed approximately VND
27.5 trillion to the province's GDP, underscoring the crucial role of tourism in local
economic development.

Among the key drivers of Nha Trang’s tourism growth are Vinpearl Resort and
VinWonders, which have become indispensable attractions in the region. Vinpearl
Resort, a premium brand of Vingroup, not only offers luxurious accommodations
but also elevates the vacation experience with a wide array of modern amenities.
VinWonders, a leading entertainment complex, provides a diverse range of
recreational activities, from water parks to thrilling rides, catering to the varied
needs of tourists. Additionally, marine tourism activities, such as scuba diving,
island tours, and water sports, play a vital role in attracting visitors to Nha Trang by
fully leveraging the region's natural coastal resources.

The structure of this report is organized into four chapters, each focusing on a
different aspect of tourism and recreation in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province. The
first chapter provides an overview of Khanh Hoa Province, offering insight into its
geographical location, economic development, and its significance as a key tourist
destination in Vietnam. The second chapter delves into the operations of Vinpearl
Nha Trang Resort, examining its facilities, services, and its role in attracting both
domestic and international tourists. The third chapter focuses on VinWonders Nha
Trang, analyzing its diverse entertainment offerings, management strategies, and its
impact on enhancing the overall tourist experience. Finally, the fourth chapter
evaluates the marine recreation and tourism activities in Nha Trang, exploring how
these activities contribute to the city’s tourism industry and the sustainable use of its
coastal resources. Through these chapters, the report aims to provide a

1
comprehensive analysis of the major tourism operations in Nha Trang and their
contributions to the local economy.

Overall, the report would give our experiences based on different aspects of Nha
Trang, not just Vinpearl but also Orchid Island.

Chapter 1: Overview of Khanh Hoa Province

Chapter 2: Analyze Vinpearl Nha Trang resort operation

Chapter 3: Analyze VinWonders Nha Trang operation

Chapter 4: Analyze marine recreational and tourism activities in Nha Trang.

2
CHAPTER 1 OVERVIEW OF KHANH HOA PROVINCE

1.1 Describe tourism resources and tourist destinations in Khanh Hoa

province.

1.1.1 Tourism resources

1.1.1.1 Marine resources

As a coastal province in South Central Vietnam, Khanh Hoa has a 385 km coastline
with nearly 200 coastal islands and over 100 islands, reefs in the Truong Sa
archipelago. The faulted coastline creates a famous ideal area for tourism because
there are many beautiful beaches, white sand, clear blue sea water, no aggressive
fish and underground eddies. Khanh Hoa has a tropical climate, the monsoon is
divided into two distinct rainy and sunny seasons. Rain only lasts in October and
November - the remaining 10 months of the year are filled with sunshine, making
the already beautiful natural landscape even more attractive.

Khanh Hoa sea has the deepest depth in Vietnam's sea and is very close to the ocean
as well as international maritime routes. The seabed has a high slope and is rugged,
consisting of layers of coral reefs. There are bays, bays, tidal flats, and fine sand
beaches along the coast which are convenient for establishing seaports, aquaculture
and tourism development...

In terms of ecology, Nha Trang Bay is one of the rare natural models of bay and bay
systems in the world because it has most of the typical and rare ecosystems of
tropical waters. These are wetland ecosystems, coral reefs, mangrove forests,
seagrass beds, estuarine ecosystems, island ecosystems, and coastal sandy
ecosystems. In particular, the Hon Mun area of Nha Trang Bay has the highest
biodiversity with 350 species of coral reefs, accounting for 40% of the world's
corals.

3

Khanh Hoa has 6 large lagoons and bays, which are Dai Lanh, Van Phong Bay, Hon
Khoi, Nha Phu lagoon, Nha Trang bay (Cu Huan) and Cam Ranh Bay. Each bay
and lagoon have its own characteristics and can be organized into diverse and
attractive tourist, resort and swimming routes, clusters and attractions. Typical
tourist destinations such as: Dai Lanh, Dam Mon (Van Ninh); Doc Let, Ninh Phuoc,
Nha Phu Lagoon (Ninh Hoa), Vinh Luong, Bai Tien, Tran Phu beach, Bai Tru, Bai
San (Nha Trang), Thuy Trieu beach, Bai Dai (Cam Ranh) …

1.1.1.2 Forest resources

The current forest area is 186.5 thousand hectares, wood reserves are 18.5 million
m3, of which 64.8% are production forests, 34% protection forests and 1.2%
special-use forests. There are 34% of protective forests, most of them are rich
forests in high mountain areas, upstream of Khanh Vinh and Khanh Son districts
and Ninh Hoa town. Forest coverage is 38.5%, the largest is in Khanh Vinh and
Khanh Son. In addition, Khanh Hoa also has about 104 hectares of mangrove
forests scattered in the coastal areas of Van Phong Bay, Nha Phu lagoon, Vinh
Truong estuary (Nha Trang), Thuy Trieu lagoon and Cam Ranh Bay with about 34
mangroves tree.

It can be said that Khanh Hoa is one of the centers of forest biodiversity, including
many migratory components from many different streams from North to South,
including the flora of Southern China, Indonesia, Malaysia, including many rare
native species. According to data from the Institute of Investigation and Planning
(1996), the whole province has 1,035 plant species belonging to 559 genera and 161

4
families. Specifically, Hon Ba has 595 species classified in 401 genera and 120
families, accounting for 57% of the province's plant species.

Figure 1.2 Hon Ba Nha Trang

The biological richness of Khanh Hoa's forests is also known for its diversity of
genetic resources, notably the Aquilaria crassna tree, a species that provides famous
agarwood products.

By 2023, Khanh Hoa tourism industry will recover and have strong growth again,
the total number of visitors is estimated to reach more than 7.2 million, an increase
of 181.6% compared to 2022, tourism revenue in this year reached more than
33,000 billion VND.

According to a report from Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, in the first 6

months of 2024, this locality welcomed nearly 5.2 million visitors to visit and relax,
an increase of 88% over the same period.

International visitors are estimated at nearly 2.4 million, 3.2 times higher than the
same period; Domestic visitors are estimated at 2.8 million, up 40% over the same
period. Total tourism revenue is estimated at more than 26,072 billion VND, an
increase of 97% over the same period.

Achieving this achievement, in addition to the advantages of rich and beautiful

natural resources of the sea and islands, along with a rich indigenous culture, mild
weather all year round and delicious food, makes visitors take advantage of it. Up to
now, Khanh Hoa has successfully organized 10 Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea

for the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa and the whole country.

In the intangible cultural heritage with marine elements in Khanh Hoa, there are
various types of folk performances, traditional crafts, customs, beliefs, and festivals

That heritage reflects the living aspirations of the coastal community, passed down
and modified by many different methods such as oral tradition, simulation,
imitation...; expressed through the customs and traditions of seafarers; legends and
myths; rituals and festivals of fishermen, cuisine, and the production of
handicrafts...

organization. A strong corporate culture attracts top talent, retains employees, and
motivates them, thereby improving work efficiency and service quality. The
cohesion among employees and the strengthening of the brand are also partially
influenced by the impact of corporate culture. Organizations that emphasize
professionalism, such as Vinpearl, focus on training employees in communication
skills, behavioral etiquette, and knowledge of local culture. Vinpearl has oriented its

Transportation Services: This is a distinguishing feature when comparing
hotels and resorts. At Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort, transportation services
are a key offering, including shuttle services, car rentals, and airport
transfers. Given the resort's location on an island, two exclusive
transportation options are provided for in-house guests to navigate the
resort: canoe and cable car. To prevent congestion, visitors only
accessing the VinWonders amusement park are restricted to using the
cable car. Throughout their stay at the resort, guests have access to a
fleet of buggies, which are readily available to transport them between
buildings H1 and H2, to the VinWonders, and other resort areas.

access to a nearby clinic for more specialized care. This ensures that guests
have access to medical assistance if needed during their stay. Medical
services are available 24/7 for any urgent needs.
2.4 SWOT Analysis
2.4.1 Strengths
 Diverse Room Packages and Services: With two buildings, H1 and H2,
Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort offers a range of room categories with various
mountain and sea views, as well as packages from standard to premium
options for group customers. For example:
o Standard Package for Group Customers at Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort
• Price: approximately 2,500,000 - 3,500,000 VND/room/night (depending
on room type and season)
• Amenities: Standard room with double or twin beds, buffet breakfast at
the restaurant
• Promotions: 10% discount for groups of 10 people or more, free use of
swimming pool and fitness center
o Premium Package for Group Customers at Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort
• Price: approximately 5,000,000 - 7,000,000 VND/room/night (depending
on room type and season)
• Amenities: Premium room with double or twin beds and private balcony,
buffet breakfast at the restaurant and lunch or dinner at a private
restaurant

30
• Promotions: 15% discount for groups of 10 people or more, free use of
swimming pool and fitness center, free use of spa and massage, free use
of meeting and conference rooms.
With either package, guests can experience the Vinpearl ecosystem, including cable
cars, canoe, and Vin Wonders, with varying benefits such as in-room facilities and
meals.
 Comprehensive MICE Services: Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort offers
comprehensive MICE services, catering to the needs of corporate clients and
event organizers. With a large area and an understanding of the potential of
MICE clients, Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort provides MICE services with over
9 venues for event organization, with varying capacities, but always with full
facilities and the ability to accommodate up to 400 guests at a time. This is
one of the strengths that sales staff always highlight to clients when they
have a need for team building, meetings, and large events.
 Location: The resort is located on a separate island from the mainland.
Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang is situated on a beautiful and extensive beach,
about 15 minutes from the city center. The island’s location allows the resort
to perfectly meet the needs of guests seeking a peaceful retreat and escape
from the hustle and bustle of the city.
 Facial Recognition Check-in: Not the only hotel to offer this experience,
Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort has incorporated digital technology and
converted procedures to this format to provide guests with a unique and
innovative experience. Due to its island location, strict control of procedures
and information is necessary for easy management, but now guests can use
facial recognition machines to access Vinwonder or use services without
needing to present documents. This saves guests time and makes the initial
check-in process extremely quick.
2.4.2 Weaknesses
 Inadequate elevator arrangement: The elevator is located in the middle of
Building H2, causing inconvenience for guests staying in rooms at the
beginning or end of the floor (with over 60 rooms per floor) as they have to
spend a lot of time traveling to their rooms.
 Limited transportation: The resort's location on a separate island can cause
difficulties for guests in traveling to and from the resort, especially in
emergency situations. This also leads to a series of weaknesses, such as
difficulty in repairing equipment and machinery, transporting raw materials
to provide fresh food to guests, which may result in higher prices for some
items.
 High percentage of part-time employees: Due to the nature of the resort,
the percentage of employees cannot reach 100% of occupancy at all times, so
even with 100% occupancy, employees may only be able to serve 60% of

31
guests, leading to a heavy workload and pressure, resulting in inconsistent
quality of service. Additionally, part-time employees may not receive the
same benefits and privileges as full-time employees, reducing their
motivation to work.
 Diverse services but lack of clear instructions: The amenities and facilities
provided in the bathroom by Vinpearl are very comprehensive, including
various types of water and a small dressing table mirror. However, the
bathtub area is designed differently from other hotels and resorts, making it
difficult for first-time guests to use effectively. Guests may have difficulty
adjusting the water temperature.
2.4.3 Opportunities
 Growth and potential of MICE tourism in Vietnam: According to
statistics, MICE is a promising industry with strong growth in the last 2
years. Specifically, the number of MICE visitors in the third quarter of 2023
increased by 10% compared to the same period last year, with 32,180
domestic MICE visitors. For inbound MICE tourist groups, the average
number of MICE tourists accounts for 20-30%, even in large enterprises in
peak months reaching 60%. Of these, European MICE visitors account for
about 20%. In Vietnam, MICE tourism is still relatively new but has great
potential for development in the near future. Many travel companies,
resorts/hotels have exploited this type and achieved positive results.
 Strong brand and reputation: As part of the Vinpearl chain, Vinpearl Nha
Trang Resort can leverage the advantages of a strong brand and reputation to
attract customers, increasing their trust in the resort. This encourages them to
choose Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort as their destination for their vacation.
Diversifying customers, including both domestic and international guests,
and being able to choose the resort from among many competitors offering
similar products.
 Collaboration and partnership with other resorts: Vinpearl Nha Trang
Resort can strengthen cooperation and partnership with other partners of the
same brand on Hon Tre Island to increase revenue and provide guests with
comprehensive services during their stay. Utilizing the strong ecosystem and
many services from Golf, snorkeling of Vinpearl on the island.
2.4.4 Threats
 Competition with Many Competitors: The tourism industry in Nha Trang
is highly competitive, posing a challenge for Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort in
attracting customers and maintaining its market share. With many resorts and
hotels in Nha Trang, Vinpearl faces difficulties in occupying a significant
market share of tourists, so the brand must constantly update and develop.
 Concern for Sustainable Development: The business activities of Vinpearl
Nha Trang Resort are certainly affected by environmental issues, such as

32
water pollution, emissions, as resorts need to be more responsible for
protecting the environment in their business area but have fewer conditions
than hotels in the city. Today, paying attention to sustainability and ways to
reduce food waste and save energy is the top concern of businesses so that
customers have a better impression of their brand and the sustainability of
the business in the future. However, to implement this, it requires a
significant investment of capital and long-term commitment from the
business and employees.
 Climate: This is an unavoidable factor in operating a resort. Weather factors
such as storms and strong winds make it difficult for the resort to transport
guests and essential materials or operate and provide a perfect experience for
guests.
 Easily affect the brand name: Each Vinpearl property must strive to
provide the best experience for guests. If a branch has a poor image, it can
easily affect the resort. Therefore, Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort must maintain
and improve the quality and service of its products to meet customer
expectations and maintain the reputation of the Vinpearl brand.
2.5 Recommendations and solutions
2.5.1 Solution

2.5.1.1 Solution for inadequate elevator arrangement

Room Arrangement and Additional Elevator Installation: To address the issue of
inadequate elevator arrangement, Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort can consider the
following solutions:
 Room arrangement during low season: During low seasons, the resort can
proactively arrange rooms from near to far from the elevator for guests.
Based on the time of booking or check-in, during low seasons when
occupancy is not 100%, front desk staff can consider assigning rooms with
numbers 20-40, which are closer to the elevator.
 Room arrangement during peak season: During peak seasons, the resort
can consider assigning rooms based on the characteristics of guests. Since
most foreign guests tend to request rooms far from the elevator due to noise
concerns and their preference for walking, the resort can take this into
account when assigning rooms but should ask for their opinion first.
 Investment in additional elevator: Additionally, the resort can consider
building an additional elevator. However, this solution requires significant
investment and may cause noise and disruption during construction,
requiring a blockage of an area for a period of time. To implement this
solution, the resort should consider its business performance and allocate a
portion of its profits to invest in the elevator system. The resort should weigh

33
the benefits and effectiveness of having an additional elevator based on the
target customer segment and their preferences.

2.5.1.2 Solution for limited ttransportation

 Transportation: The resort has made efforts to provide convenient
transportation options for guests, including the use of canoes and cable cars.
To minimize congestion, the resort only offers canoe transportation to guests
visiting the Vinwonder area. The resort has also provided adequate safety
equipment on the canoes and ensured quick boarding times.
 Management of raw materials: To manage raw materials effectively, the
resort can expand its storage area to store more. This helps minimize waste
and ensures that guests always have enough raw materials needed.
The resort can also seek out raw materials that can be used for multiple dishes to
minimize excess and reduce waste. In addition, the resort can find ways to store raw
materials cold to ensure they are always fresh.
To reduce costs, the resort can collaborate with other resorts on the island to import
goods on a regular basis, daily or weekly. This helps reduce transportation costs and
ensures that guests always have enough raw materials needed.
For seasons that are expected to be affected by the weather, the resort should limit
the mention of fresh food on the menu and plan to import larger quantities of
essential raw materials. This ensures that guests always have enough food needed
and minimizes waste.

2.5.1.3 Solution for high percentage of part-time employees

 Employee benefits: Hiring part-time employees is not too strange for island
resorts, but in order for them to bring the best experience to guests, resorts
should have more attractive welfare programs because the service charge is
still quite low and part-time employees do not receive that amount of money,
but the workload is quite a lot and the requirements are quite high. Resorts
can increase the benefits for part-time employees with service vouchers,
which can both increase revenue and internal marketing for the resort, but
also promote employee motivation or give them a monthly service charge for
employees whose number of working days reaches the standard threshold in
the month. This method also ensures human resources because it is very
difficult to find employees willing to work on the island. From there,
employees can feel more excited and interested in working.

2.5.1.4 Solution for diverse services but lack of clear instructions

Giving the clear instructions: To ensure that guests can fully utilize the modern
amenities provided, the resort can provide clear instructions on how to use the
facilities, such as the bathtub, temperature control, and water drainage. The resort
can also offer suggestions and recommendations on the ideal time for bathing, using

34
the safe, and other amenities. The cost of printing these instructions is relatively
low, and the benefits can be significant in terms of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
2.5.2 Recommendation
Emphasizing Sustainable Development
During my stay at Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort, I did not see a strong emphasis on
sustainable development. However, I believe that Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort
should prioritize sustainable development to ensure its long-term existence and
growth. Sustainable development not only helps reduce the negative impact on the
environment, but also enhances brand value and increases customer trust.
 Replacing plastic water bottles with glass bottles: Currently, Vinpearl still
provides plastic water bottles in the rooms for guests. One of the sustainable
development measures that Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort can implement is to
replace plastic water bottles with glass bottles. Glass bottles can be reused
multiple times, reducing plastic waste and helping to protect the
environment. Additionally, glass bottles can be designed with the Vinpearl
brand, enhancing brand recognition and creating a good impression with
customers.
 Offering eco-friendly materials: Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort should also
offer eco-friendly materials in its operations. This can include using recycled
materials, reducing plastic and chemical use, and selecting suppliers with
environmental responsibility. By offering eco-friendly materials, even in
small ways, Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort can reduce its negative impact on the
environment and enhance its brand value.
 Implementing environmental conservation projects: When researching
sustainable development strategies, I found that Vinpearl has limited and
unremarkable campaigns. However, Vinpearl can leverage its unique
location on a private island to implement environmental conservation
projects, such as caring for the coral reefs surrounding the island or
conserving a specific species like turtles. These projects can demonstrate
Vinpearl's commitment to sustainable development and enhance its brand
recognition. However, such projects require a team of experts and a detailed
plan. Vinpearl should utilize its chain's advantage to implement these
projects.

CHAPTER 3 ANALYZE VINWONDERS NHA TRANG OPERATION

Vin Wonders is considered an entertainment paradise for travelers, especially

children to come and enjoy the atmosphere with various types of games. The guest
can choose to use either slings or canoe to arrive to. It includes: many games from
indoors to outdoors such as 3D games, 4D games, karaoke and an artificial
mountain system, the waterpark. An aquarium with more than 300 marine species...
Due to the national funeral, some night shows in Vin Wonders were cancelled.
However the games were opening, we could experience lots of different types of
games from indoors to outdoors, also the waterpark. Vin Wonders was sparkling, it
provided us with many beautiful and unforgettable memories.
3.1 Transportation
There are two ways to move from the mainland to Vin Wonders: the customers can
choose either cable cars or canoes.
 Cable cars: Due to the peak season, the customers have to wait for an hour
to use the cable cars. Nevertheless, it is the favorite transportation here
because sitting in the cable cars, they can have a whole view of Caribbean
blue water from 380 feet above. One cable car can hold up to 12 people, and
it takes about 10 -15 minutes to transfer from the city to Vin Wonders. The
cable car gondola system is claimed to be the longest cable car over water.
The customers who use cable cars will reach Vin Wonders directly without
going through the resort like using canoes.

36
 Canoes: we choose to use canoes because they are faster and do not wait for
the queue like the cable cars. The canoe can contain about 15 - 20 people, it
also takes around 10 -15 minutes to reach the Vin Wonders. The canoe is
fast, however due to the fluctuation of the sea the canoe may be shaken
which is not suitable for the seasickness. Using a canoe, we arrived at the
resort first then checked - in by face ID, after that we used the elevator to
move up to Vin Wonders. It might take more time than the cable cars, but the
advantage is that we did not need to wait for the queue.
3.2 Game Areas
3.2.1 Indoor games
Indoor games in Vin Wonders operate in Fairyland - Adventure World, which is
considered to be one of the most favorite places for travelers to come and enjoy the
amazing games. The games have applied modern technology such as AR and VR to
give the customers the best experience when playing here.
 VR Maze Double: we had to wear the VR mask to see the graphics, and also
the characters inside. In the game, we would become warriors to fight with
the monsters which were programmed, overcame the fire wall and found the
way out. The graphics background was dark, there were many monsters
suddenly jumping out to scare us. Notably, the graphics and the background
were outstanding with the VR mask helping us to increase the liveliness of
the game.
 Trampoline area: the area was set up with many trampolines for customers
to release their energy. It resembled a small stadium with a basketball basket,
cotton pool which was a place that contained many small pillows inside for
us to jump down. Before entering the area, we had to do the warm - up
exercises instructed by the staff, and then the staff would show us the rules
when playing here to avoid any injuries. The area was also divided into three
small places which were a cotton pool, basketball and jumping area. In each
place, we could jump as high as possible, throw the basketball without using
too much effort to reach the basket, and leave our souls into the soft cotton
pillows.

37
Figure 3.32 Trampoline area

 Dancing area: After that, we went to the dancing area which was located in
the center of the place. With a big screen in the front and many places to
dance. The music was lively, the screen always showed the dance moves
with instructions and from slow to fast for us to get used to step by step.
With many dance moves following the music, we practiced a lot from that,
the moves were easy for us to imitate which really helped us to release stress,
that also was the first time we had danced together.
Beside these games we have experienced, there were also many games from 3D to
4D games with contemporary facilities, alluring graphics would attract many guests
to come and experience the indoor games. It also had several game machines with
many types of games, the customers did not have to wait much time for the game.
As we observed, every area in the indoor games was divided logically, the AR
games would be located one side, the VR games would be located one side and
other sides would be for game machines so that the guests would not be disturbed
by other guests who were playing the other side. Each area did have at least one
member of staff to instruct and assist the guests when they needed help, the staff
were friendly and helpful, they were always willing to give a hand whenever we
needed. Due to the limited time, we had to move to other areas to have more
involvement.
3.2.2 Outdoor games
The outdoor games are for customers who want to have a strong experience. With
many intriguing games such as roller coasters, zip lines, swing carousels, These
thrilling games would lead the customers to a new adventure as it location name
was Adventureland.
 Roller coaster: In terms of us, the first game we chose was roller coaster.
Every outdoor game, we had to queue, and it took about 15 minutes to enter
the game area. There were two staff to instruct us to sit in the train and set up
the seat belt. The roller coaster went up and down from slow to fast, it also
had many bends to thrive our excitement. The train had run two times, the

38
second time was faster like lightning which made us almost unconscious.
After the game, we went down with a lot of feeling remaining on the roller
coaster.
 Swing Carousels: Then, we moved to Swing Carousels. The swing
contained many seats, it also had a couple chairs for a child and one adult.
There was one staff member to handle the game area, before the game
started, she would go around to check if any of the guests had not worn the
seatbelt. The swing started to move slowly and then faster and higher, the
seats were set up separately to ensure that there was no collision during the
games. When the swing reached the highest height, it also threw out our
worries and concerns. The Swing Carousels were amazing, all the guests
really enjoyed the games, it helped them to remove stress and dip into the
atmosphere.
 Sky drops: Sky drop would be the next one that we experienced. The game
also attracted many customers from young to old to play. As its name states,
there were about 10 - 15 seats, it would go up slowly and then rapidly like
lightning dropped down to the land. Our feelings were strange, we could not
handle the immediate change which made us feel dizzy but also stimulating.
The game had raised our nerves, it made us feel more awake then. Overall, it
was one of the most thrilling games we have ever played.
All the outdoor games were interesting and appealing, they were worth trying one
by one. The facilities were new to ensure the safety for guests, also each game area
would have a shelf for customers to have their bags and belongings put in. The staff
were friendly and welcoming, they also managed to use the camera to capture some
beautiful moments for the customers. Due to the peak season, we had to wait in the
queue for every game and it took at least 10 minutes to start to play the games.
 Tata’s Fairyland: Tata’s Fairyland was one of the most attractive places for
families having children. Tata’s Fairyland was a fairytale story located in its
own castle called with the same name. When coming to the castle, the guests
would have the opportunity to go on an adventure to the Fairyland. First, we
entered the main hall and listened to the general background told by an old
man which was a statue with an artificial voice. After that, we went on a
small boat, and it would float on the river and the story would be told while
floating. On both sides of the river, there were many models of the characters
to illustrate the story, not only the models but also the voices. The boat kept
floating up and down, we really dived into the story because of its
fascinating designation and allure.

39
Figure 3.33 Tata's Fairyland
Source: Vin Wonders
Even though the story was not new to us, we really enjoyed the innovative
illustration, and their designation in every character, also the context.
3.2.3 Waterpark
The water might be the most valuable place in Vin Wonders. With more than 20
water games including multiple types of slides, it also had a pool for people who
prefer swimming and a children 's playground area which was safe for children who
were under 14 years old. Before entering, we had to rent a locker with 30,000 VND
for 1 locker, but we must deposit 100,000 VND. There were two locker areas and
were not divided into men and women.
 The Legendary Temple: The Legendary Temple was one of the most
interesting places for us to go first. An artificial wave appeared which raised
our joy, each of us had a lifebuoy and went to the nearest place creating the
waves and letting it float back to the coast. We completely immersed
ourselves in this area, the pool was not really crowded, the area was large
enough for the customers to enjoy themselves.
 Slides: Then, we all moved to the slides, there were many different types of
slides which were countless in the waterpark. Each slide game would require
a suitable height, each game would have a staff to assist us before starting,
they showed us the posture and told us some important notes before we
began. The slides were smooth, water was filled enough for us to slide down
without any obstacles. Some of the slides we could use either the lifebuoy or
water skis to play with, which made the slides more interesting.
 The Mystery River: The Mystery River would be the last one. The river
was about 2 km long, so we sat on the lifebuoy and let it float until the end of
the river. While floating, we were chatting together, also splashing the water.
It might be boring, but for us it was really healing. The river also recovered
our energy after playing those thrilling games.

40
The waterpark would be the most appealing playground, it had many games, slides,
areas for each segment. The staff were always friendly and sociable, the games were
interesting. Overall, a water park would be an unforgettable place.
3.3 Analyze the advantages and disadvantages
3.3.1 Advantages
• Diversity and thoughtful

The games are diverse from indoors to outdoors which makes the customer not feel
bored while playing in Vin Wonders. Also, each game area will have at least 1 staff
to instruct and assist the guests to enter and play the games, it also has a shelf for
customers to have their belongings and bags there. Some areas such as roller
coasters or crashing games will have a camera to capture the moments for the
customers.
The staff were trained well, they are always willing to help from checking the safety
for the customer in the beginning to say thank you to the customers when they
finish the game.
In terms of the waterpark, it has a diversity of height in each game for customers
who are afraid of the height they can choose to play the different one. The slides
and areas in waterparks are also various, some of the areas will require the suitable
height of the players to ensure safety. The instructor in each game is kind and
wholeheartedly assists us with the right posture before playing the slides.
• Location
The location is divided logically, the general terrain is quite steep which is the
reason that Vin Wonders in Nha Trang has to distribute the game areas into
different stratification so that customers can enjoy this area and then move to other
areas.
People can choose to go sightseeing on the top first and then move down to play a
game or the opposite.
• Hygiene
The cleaning staff are allocated reasonably to keep urban aesthetics always clean
and hygienic. Being at Vin Wonders from the start at Fairyland and ending with
Water Park, it was rare to see garbage, trash on the floor even in Water Park,
hygiene is still guaranteed by the cleaning staff.
3.3.2 Disadvantages
• Floor in Waterpark

The floor is paved with floral patterns which might make the customers feel hurt
when walking on it. Most of the customers joining the waterpark do not wear shoes,
they use bare feet instead. In our experience, our feet hurt whenever walking on the
floor and went upstairs. There is no cautious sign to warn the customers

41
The lifebuoys had to be carried when playing the games, which was not convenient
and safe. Some games require 4 - seats lifebuoy and are located on a high floor,
which means we had to bring the lifebuoy upstairs manually, the floor of the stairs
was hard and difficult to step up. While going up the stairs, we were also carrying
the heavy lifebuoy beside us.
• First Aid Limited
As on the map, first aid is just available in Adventureland and SeaWorld. Due to the
limit of first aid, it might take time to take it either from Adventureland or
SeaWorld to the needed place, the injury might also be more severe.
There is no first aid sign in the Water Park, which is inconvenient for customers if
they need medic. Even though each water area has a safeguard, it might not be
enough for customers or there might be a lack of medical tools.
• Lack of Staff
Some game areas do not have instructors. We wanted to play the climbing game and
the staff from other areas had to leave theirs and come to assist us. While we were
playing, the staff also had to leave an eye to his original position, the staff could not
control two positions at the same time.
All the thrilling games except roller coasters just have one staff which is not enough
because one staff cannot handle emergency cases or any urgent situations, because
these games usually have some unexpected situations coming from the guests.
Some indoor games have more than 2 - 3 staff for each area, which is not really
suitable due to the indoor games being less dangerous than outdoors.
3.4 Recommendation and solution
• Floor replacing and Lifebuoys location
The floor should be replaced by plain lining tile to ensure the safety of customers’
feet, also it can absorb water which might not be slippery for the customers,
especially the children who usually run around. There should be a sign to notify the
customers about the wet floor in the waterpark, and it may encourage customers to
wear swimming shoes while joining the waterpark to reduce the proportion of
injuries happening.
The 4 -seats lifebuoys should be placed directly in the game areas. Normally, the
customers have to bring the lifebuoys upstairs to play the games which are unsafe
and inconvenient due to the high floor of those games. So that the 4 seat lifebuoys
should be located directly in the game areas to be easier for the customers who do
not need to bring them up.
• More location of first aid
Medics should be priority located in the waterpark due to the crowd and games
underwater may cause some unexpected injuries for customers usually coming from

42
the slides and the mystery river. The customers may have some collisions while
playing games.
The first aid center should be located in the center of the waterpark which is easy to
recognize, and each safeguard should be equipped with a first aid kit to first aid for
wounds immediately to reduce the seriousness.
Medic should also be available in every game area in Vin Wonders. Those
accidental accidents may not only just happen to customers, but also the staff
around Vin Wonders. To ensure safety and provide the best participation for the
customers enjoying themselves here, Vin Wonders should put the safety of the
guests on top. The staff should inform the customers about the emergency number
and remind them to note down before coming to Vin Wonders.
• Staff allocation
Due to the peak season, Vin Wonders every day has to welcome a large number of
guests. To increase the satisfaction of the customers, they should allocate the staff to
handle the areas logically.
For the outdoor games, each game should have more than 1 staff member in charge
of the customers. One of them will check the safety to ensure that customers are
wearing their seatbelt already, and there are no belongings beside them while the
games are running. The second staff will operate the engine of the games and
examine after the guests leave the game area.
For the indoors, they should cut off the human resources. Each area should just have
1 member of staff to instruct and assist the customers while playing the games.
Because the indoor games will limit the number of guests participating each time, as
our observation each game has maximum 6 participants joining. The other areas
such as game machines and drawing do not need too many employees to handle due
to the familiarity of these games.
3.5 Other areas
3.5.1 Eating areas
On Food Street, it would have many restaurants having several different flavors.
The Wind and Sea,
 The Coral restaurants: The Coral restaurants would be highly
recommended to the customers. The Coral restaurant opens from 11:00 -
15:00, these two restaurants serve many types of menus, especially buffets
with more than 70 types of seafood.
 The Wind and Sea: The Wind and Sea restaurant opens from 09:00 to
20:00, there is no buffet in the restaurant. Instead, they would provide more
set menus, and dishes on a la carte menu. The restaurant can hold more than
650 guests, which is an ideal place for families and tourists. Seating in

43
restaurants, the customers can also overlook Nha Trang Bay with the
complete view.
On the other hand, in each area in Vin Wonders, it also had at least 1 restaurant to
meet the needs of the customers staying there such as Lotteria located in Sea World,
Monta Express Restaurant located in Adventure World, the waterpark would have
their own food court selling mostly barbecue. Fast food and drinks stalls were
available everywhere in Vin Wonders with the price from 40,000 VND to 150,000
VND.
3.5.2 Sightseeing areas
For sightseeing areas, it could be mentioned in World Garden and SeaWorld. In the
World Garden, we could see many interesting things such as the African Desert,
Japanese Garden, Aboriginal Kingdom. Each place will provide a different
experience for the guests coming here. For instance, the Japanese Garden will
display the guest a real small village in Japan with the Koi fishpond, a Japanese
style bridge and the foremost is the Japanese tea house where the guests can come
inside and encounter a cup of tea with authentic Japanese flavors and atmosphere.

Figure 3.34 Japanese Garden in Vin Wonders

Source: Vin Wonders
The customers could take a closer look at the beauty of nature on the mainland, or
they could join in the sky wheel or watch tower to take a whole look of Vin
Wonders.
Coming to SeaWorld, the customers could experience the underwater world where
they could imagine they were in the deepest place of the water. The crashing game
was also intriguing, we played that game and crashed into each other. Each person
would have a car and start to drive to crash into other people. The customers could
also have many beautiful pictures in Musical Water Fountain or Ocean Square

44
3.5.3 Shopping areas
There were many souvenir shops located in each area such as Harry Shop in
SeaWorld, Dolphin shop in Adventure Land. The only purpose was that they could
provide the service to the customers no matter whenever they wanted to buy
souvenirs because souvenirs shops were located everywhere in Vin Wonders except
World Garden so that customers did not need to find a shop for souvenirs. Also, if
they need something in emergency, there were several convenient stores to solve
their problems immediately
3.6 Analyze the advantages and disadvantages
3.6.1 Advantages
 Location

Each shop is located logically near to the place where people will need that stuff
such as Marina shop will be located in the Water Park for customers to buy
something related to swimming and playing underwater.
Shops are allocated widely in Vin Wonders especially souvenir shops are available
everywhere which is convenient for customers to buy presents, also provide them
many choices which they can choose based on what they need.
Restaurants are also available everywhere in Vin Wonders. Acknowledging what
people need after a day playing here, the restaurants are always welcoming the
customers no matter where they are and provide them a diversity of cuisine. There
are also many food and drink stalls to serve the guests immediately with many
choices from fast food to fruit juice.
The Food Street is located inside so that people can enjoy a day in other areas and
then move to the food street conveniently without using the map.
3.6.2 Disadvantage
Some souvenir shops are not relevant to the topic of that area. For instance, Tata’s
Fairy Land, after watching the whole story we went to a souvenir shop next to and
the goods in that shop were completely different from what we saw inside. The
irrelevant souvenirs might make the customer confused or disappointed because
these things in the shop are not enough to satisfy them.
The closing time is quite early, which might interrupt the guests' experience when
they are having a meal. The restaurants close at 20:00 which may cause
dissatisfaction with the costumes because most of the guests are coming from
overseas and other cities, 20:00 might be too early for them.
3.7 Recommendation and solution
The souvenir shop should be required to sell things and stuff according to the topic
and title of that area or that game. For instance, the Tata Fairy Land, after watching
the story, the souvenirs should sell some characters, models, or puzzles of that story.
Due to the major segment of the customers in Vin Wonders is families with
children, the children would love the animation, also the characters would attract

45
them as well. Hence, souvenirs shops should be located smartly with the relevant
things and stuff designed according to the topic of that area.
The restaurants should be open later than 20:00. The restaurant closes too early,
which might not provide the complete experience for the customers. They should
open until 22:00, the guests would have a whole view of Vin Wonders and come
back by cable car.

46
CHAPTER 4 ANALYZE MARINE RECREATIONAL AND TOURISM
ACTIVITIES IN NHA TRANG

Nha Trang, renowned as one of the most beautiful coastal cities in Vietnam, boasts
stunning beaches with fine white sand and crystal-clear waters, making it an ideal
destination for marine recreational activities. Leveraging these natural advantages,
Nha Trang has developed a robust array of sea-based activities and games, which
have become an integral part of the visitor experience whenever they visit the city.
The marine activities in Nha Trang are highly diverse, ranging from adventurous
sports such as windsurfing and parasailing to more leisurely pursuits like kayaking
and snorkeling. These activities not only provide excitement but also bring visitors
closer to the natural marine environment. Notably, these activities are particularly
popular among the younger generation, as they offer not only a chance to explore
and enjoy the natural beauty but also an opportunity to challenge oneself and create
memorable experiences.
In Nha Trang, engaging in marine recreational activities has become an
indispensable part of the trip, adding both excitement and completeness to the visit.
Therefore, during our internship, where we had the opportunity to experience five
days and four nights in Nha Trang, our team took advantage of the chance to
participate in these various sea activities.
4.1. Experiencing marine activities at Hon Tre Island
4.1.1. Vinpearl Splash Bay
At Vin Wonders' water park, we had the opportunity to explore Vinpearl Splash
Bay, an extensive floating inflatable game complex on the sea. Recognized as the
largest floating park in the world with a total area of 4,200 square meters, it can
accommodate up to 750 visitors at once. This expansive floating bay surpasses the
previous record held by the 3,000-square-meter Dubai floating park. However, due
to our visit occurring on a Monday at the beginning of the week and during a
national mourning period, the inflatable areas at Splash Bay were significantly
reduced, down to approximately 20% of the advertised total area.

47
Figure 4.35 Vinpearl Splash Bay
Source: Vin Wonders
The floating bay is designed to cater to a diverse range of entertainment needs for
visitors of various ages. This area not only stands out for its vast size but also for its
variety of games, ranging from gentle activities to daring challenges. This variety
ensures that it attracts both those who enjoy light exercise and those who seek
thrilling adventures.
The floating bay offers an array of exciting games classified by difficulty levels and
physical demands, making it suitable for both children and adults. Adventure
seekers can enjoy thrilling activities such as the action tower, climbing walls,
balance beams, giant inflatable balls, rollers, cooking pans, and monkey bars. These
games provide intense experiences perfect for those seeking stimulation and
excitement. They not only demand physical strength but also require skill and
coordination. Engaging in these activities allowed our team, as well as other teams,
to bond and collaborate effectively.
In addition to the more challenging games, the floating bay also offers gentler
activities for those who prefer a milder experience or may not have as much
physical stamina. Activities such as sliding slopes, obstacle courses, balance
bridges, and crossing beams are well-suited for those who enjoy a more moderate
level of exertion. Although less adventurous, these games still require dexterity,
flexibility, and teamwork, helping us develop coordination skills and create
enjoyable moments with friends and family.
Before participating in the games, we were required to wear life jackets and were
not allowed to bring mobile phones. Our team found this marine activity to be
particularly enjoyable, as it was our first experience with such a floating game park.
4.1.2. Vinpearl Diving Club
In addition to the diverse range of entertainment options at Vin Wonders, Vinpearl
Nha Trang offers visitors an enticing opportunity to explore the ocean through the
Vinpearl Diving Club. With an expansive diving area covering up to 36,000 square
meters, this location is ideal for immersing oneself in the endless beauty of the sea,

48
marveling at the richness of the marine ecosystem, and engaging in lively water
sports activities.
Although we did not have sufficient time to personally experience the activities at
Vinpearl Diving Club, we gathered essential information and key details from the
resort’s front desk staff. The resort team provided thorough guidance on how to
participate in various activities, important safety considerations, and additional
support services available to guests. This information was invaluable for preparing
visitors for a successful and enjoyable diving and water sports experience.

Figure 4.36 Vinpearl Diving Club Poster

Source: Vinpearl Diving Club
A major highlight of Vinpearl Diving Club is the coral reef snorkeling activity. This
experience offers visitors the chance to view a diverse array of coral species and
marine life within their natural habitat. Snorkeling not only provides a profound
sense of exploration but also delivers a direct insight into the underwater ecosystem,
emphasizing the importance of ocean conservation.
In addition to snorkeling, Vinpearl Diving Club organizes a variety of other water
sports activities, such as underwater walking, kayaking, and windsurfing. These
activities add richness to the visitor experience, allowing for the enjoyment of the
ocean’s beauty while walking on the sea floor, or conquering waves while
windsurfing. Each activity is designed to cater to different skill levels and
preferences, ensuring that every guest can find joy and satisfaction in the offered
experiences.

49
4.2. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages in organizing marine activities
at Hon Tre Island
4.2.1. Strengths in organizing marine activities at Hon Tre Island
The entire operation of the floating inflatable park at Nha Trang is managed and
provided by Wibit, a leading German provider of water sports facilities. The
inflatable park is equipped with a professional lifeguard team to ensure the highest
levels of safety for visitors. The mandatory requirement for wearing life jackets and
the prohibition of carrying mobile phones during activities are standard and
essential safety measures that protect guests from potential hazards while enjoying
the sea. This demonstrates Vinpearl’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-
being of its visitors.
With its expansive area and impressive capacity, Vinpearl Splash Bay offers a vast
open entertainment space on the sea, catering to the diverse needs of visitors of all
ages. The floating bay, covering up to 4,200 square meters, is designed to
accommodate a range of activities from gentle to adventurous, addressing the
entertainment needs of various groups. This design not only provides guests with
engaging activities but also ensures that everyone, from children to adults, can find
a suitable game that matches their interests and abilities. Similarly, Vinpearl Diving
Club, with its extensive 36,000 square meter diving area, offers an ideal space for
underwater sports such as coral reef snorkeling and underwater walking, allowing
guests to experience the ocean’s wonders in a rich and captivating environment.
4.2.2. Weaknesses in organizing marine activities at Hon Tre Island
However, based on our team’s experience with the Splash Bay attraction, we
observed that the facilities appear somewhat outdated. The surfaces of the inflatable
structures have worn down and have become quite slippery. While staff members
consistently enforce the requirement for life jackets, our observations revealed that
some of the life jackets provided are quite old and have malfunctioning buckles.
Despite this, the staff only replaced the life jackets upon request from the guests,
rather than proactively ensuring that all equipment is in optimal condition.
4.3. Experiencing marine activities at Orchid Island
4.3.1. Kayaking
On Orchid Island, kayaking is a popular choice among many visitors, offered at a
reasonable price of VND 100,000 per hour. The kayak, a narrow and small boat
typically made of plastic, measures just over 3 meters in length and can
accommodate 2 to 3 people. It provides an excellent opportunity for guests to
experience the thrill of paddling while enjoying the stunning ocean views.

50
Figure 4.37 Kayaking at Orchid Island
Source: Orchid Island
When opting for the kayaking service at Orchid Island, guests are equipped with life
jackets and receive a brief tutorial on paddling from the staff. The instructional
process is meticulous: each participant is assisted onto the kayak, with the stronger
paddler positioned at the rear to ensure stability and efficient steering. The staff
consistently remind guests to wear their life jackets throughout the activity to
maintain safety.
In the initial moments of the experience, some difficulties might arise, such as the
kayak veering off course due to uncoordinated paddling or unfamiliarity with the
technique. However, after approximately 20 minutes our journey was more
enjoyable and engaging, allowing guests to fully appreciate the natural surroundings
and relax. Overall, the structured organization and attentive care provided by the
staff make our kayaking experience at Hon Tre Island a memorable and safe
activity.
4.3.2. Jetskiing
Unlike the gentle and relaxing experience of kayaking, jetskiing, also known as
water scooter riding, offers a completely different adventure with intense
excitement and thrill. On Orchid Island, each jetski is limited to a maximum of two
passengers, and wearing a life jacket is mandatory for safety. Additionally, the
operator is required to wear a lanyard attached to the key to ensure the engine can
be shut off immediately in case of a fall. With speeds reaching up to 100 km per
hour, jetskiing is an exhilarating sport that demands strict adherence to safety
instructions from the staff to prevent unwanted injuries.

51
Figure 4.38 Jetskiing at Orchid Island
Source: Orchid Island
During our recent experience, one of our team members operated the jetski in a less
crowded area of the sea. This not only allowed us to focus better on maneuvering
but also ensured the safety of other beachgoers nearby. Although the excitement of
speeding across the water was memorable, the high cost of VND 500,000 for just 10
minutes limited our time on the jetski. Nevertheless, the thrill of jetskiing provided
a sense of freedom and adventure that is unmatched by other activities. It is truly an
excellent choice for those seeking high-speed thrills and the opportunity to
challenge themselves on the water.
4.3.3. Parachute canoe
Parachute canoeing on Orchid Island, Nha Trang, is an exhilarating activity
designed for those who crave adventure and wish to explore the stunning scenery
from above. Priced at approximately VND 500,000 per flight, this activity offers a
unique and emotionally charged way to experience Nha Trang Bay, enhancing the
island's appeal to tourists. Although our team did not have the opportunity to
participate directly, observing other guests allowed us to gain insight into the
operational and organizational aspects of the activity.

52
Figure 4.39 Parachute canoe at Orchid Island
Source: Orchid Island

The guides at Orchid Island demonstrated professionalism in their approach,

thoroughly explaining the steps involved and ensuring that participants understood
the techniques required to control the parachute. They made certain that all guests
were properly equipped with safety gear, including harnesses, helmets, and life
jackets. All equipment is regularly inspected and maintained to meet the highest
safety standards. The satisfaction expressed by the participants, coupled with the
meticulous preparation and guidance provided by the staff, suggests that parachute
canoeing at Orchid Island not only offers an exciting experience but also prioritizes
the safety and well-being of its guests.
4.4. Analyze the advantages and disadvantages in organizing marine activities
at Orchid Island
4.4.1. Strengths in organizing marine activities at Orchid Island
On Orchid Island, the organization of water activities such as kayaking, jetskiing,
and parachute canoeing highlights several notable strengths. One of the primary
strengths is the emphasis on safety. Orchid Island consistently deploys a team of
lifeguards and supervisors at the activity zones, ensuring that all activities are
closely monitored and that participants receive prompt assistance when needed. The
presence of these professional staff members not only helps prevent emergencies
but also provides reassurance to guests, especially those engaging in high-
adrenaline activities such as jetskiing or parachute canoeing. Additionally, safety
equipment is regularly inspected and maintained, including life jackets for kayaking
and lanyards for jetski keys, which enhances overall safety and minimizes risks.

53
4.4.2. Weaknesses in organizing marine activities at Orchid Island
However, the organization of water activities on Orchid Island does present some
weaknesses. Despite the island's beautiful and expansive coastline, only three main
activities are currently offered. This limited selection may make the island less
attractive compared to destinations with a broader range of entertainment options.
The restricted variety of activities not only diminishes the island’s appeal to visitors
seeking a diverse range of experiences but also limits its ability to attract a wider
audience. The lack of activity options can impact the overall guest experience,
potentially reducing Orchid Island's allure for those interested in a wider array of
water-based entertainment.
4.5. Recommendations and Solutions
From the perspective of a resort and recreational area manager, we propose several
solutions to enhance the operation and management of marine activities.
4.5.1. For the management at Hon Tre Island
To address the condition of facilities at Splash Bay on Hon Tre Island, the first step
is to upgrade and replace outdated equipment. The surface of the inflatable
structures should be regularly maintained and refreshed to ensure safety and prevent
slippage. In particular, the inspection and replacement of damaged life jackets
should be carried out more rigorously, ensuring that all safety equipment meets
standards before being provided to guests. To increase guest confidence, the resort
could implement a routine equipment inspection system and ensure that staff are
always prepared to provide prompt assistance when needed.
To improve service quality, the resort should organize regular training sessions for
staff on equipment inspection and maintenance, as well as customer service and
support skills. This will ensure that the team is capable of detecting and addressing
issues promptly, thereby enhancing service quality and customer satisfaction.
4.5.2. For the management at Orchid Island
With its large scale, extensive coastline, and prime location, Orchid Island has the
potential to introduce additional services and supporting activities to enhance the
customer experience. Introducing more games and activities will increase the
island's appeal to visitors and help attract a broader range of clientele. The resort
could consider partnering with other marine activity providers or investing in the
development of new activities such as Flyboarding, Splash Bay, Banana Boats, or
other water sports. Additionally, improving marketing and communication about
existing activities could further boost the island’s attractiveness and draw more
visitors.
The resort should conduct market research to understand visitors' needs and
preferences regarding marine activities. Based on the survey results, the resort can
make informed decisions about developing and adding new activities to better meet

customer demands. Furthermore, the resort could design combined service packages
that include various entertainment activities, offering guests more options and a
richer experience. For example, a package might include kayaking, jetskiing, and
parasailing at a discounted rate for customers who sign up for multiple activities.
