DOCUMENTATION
It is powerful proof that projects are being carried out while
observations and notes are being made to serve as
recommendations for next initiatives like the NSTP. Information on
recent management developments that are pertinent to the task and
the program is needed for a dynamic documentation service.
MONITORING HEADLINE HERE
is the regular and routine gathering of data from projects and programs and it
serves four main purposes:
• To learn from experiences to improve practices and activities in the future;
• To have internal and external accountability of the resources used and the
results obtained;
• To take informed decisions on the future of the initiative;
• To promote empowerment of beneficiaries of the initiative.
Monitoring is a routine procedure that begins when a project or program is still
HEADLINE HERE
in the planning stages. Results, procedures, and experiences can be
recorded through monitoring and utilized to guide decision-making and the
learning process. Monitoring involves comparing results to the plans.
Evaluation is done using the information gathered via monitoring.
HEADLINE
EVALUATION HERE
Evaluation is assessing, as systematically and objectively as possible, a
completed project or program (or a phase of an ongoing project or program
that has been completed). Evaluations appraise data and information that
inform strategic decisions, thus improving the project or program in the future.
