 FEASIBILITY STUDY REPORT BY SOLAR CONNECT

As per your suggestions and information on load usage pattern, we have listed out the Solar power
installation capacity. We recommend Solar power system of 10 kWp.

The suggested power plant consists of SOLAR PV PANELS, SOLAR ON-GRID INVERTER and all other electrical
safety equipment’s required for successful installation of the system. The suggested 10 kW(DC) power plant
can generate between 40 to 50 units per day which means the per month output will be 1200 to 1500
units.

Further we advise you to kindly go through the commercial offer of the power plant. We have enclosed our
Techno-Commercial offer & Product warranty. On receipt of your order along with the advance payment we
will provide our system layout drawing for your reference and approval. Subsequently we should obtain a
feasibility report from KSEB too.

Ø Three Phase Bi-Directional Energy Meter required shall be provided by KSEB, and in case of non-
availability, the meter can be provided by SOLAR CONNECT at an additional cost.
Ø Any additional work carried out at the site as per the requirement of the client, which comes outside the
scope of solar installation, the amount for the same needs to be cleared before the completion of installation
at site.

Assumptions and Considerations

a. We have assumed that Solar Power shall be evacuated at your LT Side at 230V within the plant.
b. Client shall provide access to the 230V LT Panel as per our desired location.
c. Power Evacuation from solar plant will be at 230V. We have considered transmission AC cable from
Solar System to Plant Side customer LT Panel as per our design & concept. Any additional length in
case of change of design due to non-approval for existing cable layout design shall be provided by
SOLAR CONNECT at extra price.
d. Encumbrance free roof access shall be provided by client.
e. Remote monitoring system is considered in the offered price. Client has to provide active internet
connection along with no firewall protection.
f. Indoor Space provision for all control panels (if applicable) and Inverters supplied by SOLAR Connect
will be in Customer's scope.
g. Liasoning activity is non-time bound activity as it requires approvals from multiple departments &
should not be clubbed with EPC timeline & payments.
h. SOLAR Connect shall try to expedite the Liasoning process and no penalty shall be levied by the
customer for any delay.

Product warranty & Manufacture defect warranty

a. Solar Modules – 10 years product warranty against manufacturing defect and poor workmanship
and performance warranty 90% power output at the end of 10th year and 80% output at the end of
25th year

b. Inverter –10 years

c. Module mounting structure – 5 year

d. Other BOS – As per the OEM warranty terms

e. System Warranty – 5 Years

Standard Terms & Conditions

a. Scope of work: Solar Connect (“Contractor”) scope is restricted to manufacture, supply, installation,
and commissioning of solar PV plant as per agreed scope, technical offer and specifications. This
scope is for agreed timelines and in accordance with other provisions and obligations of each Party.
Unless specifically agreed by us in writing, no other supply or services shall be considered as part of
our scope/ deliverable /obligation.

b. Taxes & Duties: This offer is inclusive of all the taxes & duties. As per Notification no. 8/2021-
Integrated Tax(rate) dated 30th September,2021 there has been clarification provided by GST
authority on GST rate for Solar Power Generating System & same are mentioned below:

1. 70% of project value shall be supply component @ 12%

2. 30% of project value shall be service component @ 18%

c. Transportation / Transit insurance / Packing: Inclusive in the rate quoted.

d. Payment terms: 75% against work order, 25% on completion of work at site.

e. Penal charges: any late payments from the above payment terms, penal interest @ 18% per annum
shall be levied from the customer for the respective amount. We shall retain all the rights on
equipment, materials or parts supplied by us under this quotation until full value thereof as per our
invoice has been fully paid to us.

f. Acceptance: All supplies of material or service works executed by Contractor shall be certified by
Owner within 3 days of submission of its documents or measurement sheets or invoices. Upon
completion of the Scope of work, the Owner shall issue a Final Acceptance Certificate to the
Contractor.

g. Confidentiality: All the information exchanged between the Parties, either oral or written, in
connection with this Offer/ Contract, shall be maintained strictly confidential, except to the extent
necessary to carry out obligations under it or to comply with applicable Laws.

h. Exclusions: any neighbourhood or locality issues, unloading or loading charges more than Rs.
1000/Load and if any third-party inspection if customer requires shall be paid separately by the
customer.

 i. Force Majeure: Solar Connect shall not be liable for any failure of or delay in the performance of this
Agreement/proposal for the period that such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its reasonable
control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, spread of diseases, strikes or labour disputes,
embargoes, government orders or any other force majeure event.

j. Jurisdiction: All disputes are subject to Thiruvananthapuram jurisdiction only.

ANNUAL PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE (OPTIONAL at Additional Cost)

Objective: Objective of the Preventive Maintenance Services provided by SOLAR CONNECT is to ensure
maintaining the Performance Ratio and general upkeep of the SPV Plant.

Scope of Services: SOLAR CONNECT proposes Annual Preventive Maintenance Contract (APMC) Services,
which will include:

• Monthly Monitoring of the overall Plant Performance and Energy Generation

• Routine maintenance of the plant and equipment’s
• Emergency breakdown maintenance (response within 48 working hours)
• Coordination with manufacturers for warranty support and breakdown maintenance
• Periodic testing of transformers, HT switchgears, DC & AC side earthing, equipment earthing, etc.

Following are also considered to be in Client’s scope:

• Security, watch and ward

• Insurance of Plant and Equipment
• Internet Connection at Site for Remote Monitoring
• Asset Management Services including Power Sale billing, RPO and Payment collection if any.
• Water and Auxiliary Power required for maintenance shall not be charged to SOLAR CONNECT by
Client.
• Daily operation and Maintenance of the SPV Plant

Maintenance Services: Annual Preventive Maintenance would be charged @ Rs. 1per Wp (DC) with a 5%
escalation year-on-year basis.
