1. Learners work in groups of 5.
2. Visit a habitat near your school ( a stream, river, a pond, dam or a small
grassland )
3. Find examples of three animals and plants that live in that environment.
4. Carefully study where they live and how you think the animals and plants are
suited to their habitat. Record all findings and complete the questions below.
5. If possible, take pictures of the plants and animals you observe.
6. Report this information back to your class.
NB: Make sure you have adult supervision when going to work in your
chosen habitat or environment.
