Course Description : Focuses on indigenous development in the field of psychology from the Filipino perspective. It traces the impact of Western Psychology in the
Philippines and on Filipinos; the realization of the presence of an indigenous psychology as evidenced by the Filipino personality, history, social and
cultural environment; the need for developing methods applicable in studying Filipino Psychology; and the formulation of theories reflective of the
Filipino experience.

Pre-requisite : PRPY 120 – Introduction to Psychology

Course Intended Learning Outcomes (CILO):


At the end of the course the students are expected to:
