RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE HEREIN FORMULATED BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
(BDP) FOR THE PERIOD 2019-2021 AND RESPECFULLY ENDORSING THE SAME TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL
OF PANIANGAN, MANTICAO, MISAMIS ORIENTAL FOR THEIR REVIEW AND APPROVAL
WHEREAS, paragraph (b), section 109 of the Local Government Code of 1991, otherwise known as R. A. 7160, provides:
(b) The Barangay Development Council shall exercise…
(1) Mobilize people’s participation in local development efforts;
(2) Prepare barangay development plans based on local requirements;
(3) Monitor and evaluate the implementation of national or local programs and
projects; and
(4) Perform usch other functions as ma be provided by law or competent
authority;
WHEREAS, the BDC formulated policies, plans and programs based on the general principles as part of the preparation of
BDP;
WHEREAS, said plan is hereby required for the general welfare of its citizens especially in the local government level, the
barangay itself;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, it was:
RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, TO APPROVE AND ADOPT THE HEREIN FORMULATED
BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT PLAN (BDP) FOR THE PERIOD 2019-2021 AND RESPECTFULLY ENDORSING THE
SAME TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL OF PANIANGAN, MANTICAO, MISAMIS ORIENTAL FOR THEIR REVIEW
AND APPROVAL
