LUMBO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
Lumbo National High School is a school in the province of
Misamis Oriental, Region x Northern Mindanao, in the
Municipality of Lagonglong. Lumbo National High school was
established on January01, 2008. For a long time in the past,
Barangay Lumbo in Lagonglong, Misamis Oriental was said to
be a jungle place, a waterway and tall trees with abundant
vegetation. But despite all these, a ray of hope was
foresighted, thus, the place marched into progress with the
opening of Lumbo National High School in January 1, 2008
under the administration of Former Governor Oscar S.
Moreno. Its continuing operation materialized due to the
extreme support extended by the teachers, student, parent,
barangay council and school principal also LGU Lagonglong.
Their collaboration efforts have made the school strong
12
and firm and able to stand the test of time.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
45
MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Students' minds can be changed by a teacher with vision and goals, and
students' entire lives can be altered by a teacher who forges new paths in
learning. I think that my desire to make a difference in people's lives will
foster a good learning atmosphere where students of all abilities can
develop and thrive.
When a teacher makes learning fun and understandable, it produces
effective learning, which is referred to as effective teaching. Knowing the
student's capacity is the first step in the difficult process of effective
teaching. Because not all students can comprehend the entire lesson that
the teacher provided, the teacher must become familiar with every
student's learning capacity and capability. To make teaching effective, we
as teachers must understand the backgrounds of each student.
To help students feel safe and at ease during the learning process, I
will use pedagogy and the supportive environment of the school to
produce meaningful learning. One of my aims in the teaching process is
to give the students the chance to ask questions and work together, doing
everything I can to develop competent students. To motivate students by
knowing their needs while motivating them, to show leadership in the
classroom, and to provide each student love and support.

PERSONAL REFLECTIONS

PERSONAL REFLECTION
I constantly consider the finest approach I can impart to my future
students as I begin my internship at San Isidro National High School. I
constantly consider what I can do to improve the effectiveness and
comprehension of my instruction for the benefit of my priceless students. I
arrive at my alma mater with the respect and expertise bestowed by the
professor and instructor at Salay Community College. I think that the
knowledge I contribute will affect how my future students develop. The first
time I met a student, I felt a struggle because I thought I had lost my
confidence at that point. However, I overcame all of my difficulties and
relaxed, showing my confidence to the students and letting them know that
this teacher, who comes from the best institution in the first district of
Misamis Oriental by the name of Salay Community College, has brought the
path of changing every learner's mind and sharing the best teaching
pedagogy.
Despite the fact that every student is unique in terms of ability,
background, cultures, and traditions, I help them learn in a fun and
engaging way by expanding our instructional materials. In order to improve
learning and ensure everyone's safety in the classroom, we constantly assess
the atmosphere. We also share inspirational quotes, safeguard students'
rights to raise questions even when classes are not in session. As a student
teacher, I always do a one-on-one interview with each student to improve
both their oral and public speaking abilities. Since not all students are
naturally good at understanding things, you need to come up with ways to
make teaching more understandable. I make sure that all of my resources are
useful and fun for the students. The outcome of a teacher teaching a student
without a strategy is that the student will feel tired, which is currently the
most prevalent problem among students as a result of some teachers'
laziness in creating a pleasurable learning environment. Every teacher hopes
that their students will retain all of the knowledge and information we
impart on them and carry it with them until their very last breath.
Showing your student succeeded because of your effort, is the best gift as a
teacher. I believe the word learning is a process, there are steps to take to
make your student competent. A good teacher leaves a lasting impression on
the learner. According to my grandfather, teaching is a volunteer endeavor in
which you share, interact, and work together with all of your heart.
