Adding Integers Using Number Lines
You can use a number line to add integers. Start at the first addend. To add a positive integer,
move to the right. To add a negative integer, move to the left. The number of units you move is
based on the second addend. The number you end on is the sum!
Try it for –3 + 6: Try it for 7 + (–2):
