a. Definition: Communication

i. Hep managers share information without jeopardizing interpersonal
relationships; preserve/enhance positive relationship whole still
addressing a problem

i. Minimizes defensiveness and disconfirmation; get things done; how
things are said are as important as what is said; to implement change; get
feedback; deal with conflict
