26 The volume of undisturbed soil sample is 180 cc and weight is 270 gm. After 24 hours oven heating, the
weight reduced to 245 gm. Find water content, bulk density & dry density
27 The water content of soil sample is 8% & void ratio 0.6. If the specific gravity of soil solids is 2.60,
calculate porosity, degree of saturation, saturated density & submerged density
28 The bulk density of soil sample is 1.80 gm/cc & water content is 12%. The specific gravity of soil solids
is 2.60. Find out the void ratio, porosity & degree of saturation
