Definition 1: Procedure text is a text that explains, informs, or helps the reader
on how to make or use something.

5. The Example Procedure Text
Title: How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of bread
- Peanut butter
- Jelly or jam of your choice
Procedure:
- Lay out the slices of bread on a clean surface.
- Have the jar of peanut butter and the jar of jelly ready.
- Using a butter knife, scoop out a desired amount of peanut butter.
- Spread the peanut butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Similarly, use a clean knife to scoop out your favorite jelly or jam.
